Mongolia's National Day is observed alongside the Naadam Festival, the country's most significant national celebration and a UNESCO-recognized element of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Naadam commemorates Mongolia's independence, statehood, and centuries-old nomadic traditions. The festival is best known for its "Three Manly Games" wrestling, horse racing, and archery which symbolize strength, skill, and resilience and have been an integral part of Mongolian culture for generations.
Observed annually from 11–13 July, Naadam is a time of national pride, bringing together communities across Mongolia to celebrate their rich history, cultural identity, and enduring heritage.
Happy National Day to Mongolia.
