Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

The IBA Library was honoured to host a condolence meeting bringing together the Library & Information Science community to remember and pay tribute to the lives, services, and intellectual legacies of Prof. Dr. Sajjad ur Rehman, Dr. Ghani-ul-Akram Sabzwari, and Muhammad Ghufran Qureshi.

A particularly moving part of the gathering was the remembrance of Muhammad Ghufran Qureshi Sahab, former Head Librarian at IBA, whose years of dedicated service and contribution to the library community remain deeply cherished. His son also shared heartfelt words in his honour, making the tribute especially meaningful for everyone present.

The gathering reflected on their academic, professional, and personal contributions, followed by prayers and Fateha for the departed souls.

May Allah Almighty grant them the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give their families, colleagues, students, and friends strength and sabr. Ameen.
