عیدالاضحیٰ کے پر مسرت موقع پر طبی عملے اور مریضوں سے عید کی خوشیاں سانجھی کرنے کے لیے ڈاکٹر میاں مظہر حیات 'چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر' جہلم نے ڈاکٹر زاہد تنویر 'میڈیکل سپرنٹینڈنٹ' جہلم کے ہمراہ ضلعی ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال کا دورہ کیا. طبی عملے اور مریضوں سے گفتگو کی. عید کی مناسبت سے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا.

Today, Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat, CEO DHA Jhelum and Dr. Jawad Ahmed, DHO PS Jhelum visited Kohali & Gura Utam Singh in the evening to review the functionality and service delivery of the health facilities.

During the visit, they assessed the working arrangements, availability of staff, patient care services and issued necessary instructions for further improvement.

Cheif Executive Officer, District Health Authority paid visits to THQ Hospital , Maryam Nawaz Hospital and Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic &

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) along with Dr. Jawad Ahmad (DHO) took a detailed round of Health Scenters and visited Registration & Nursing Counters, OPDs, Special Clinics, Pharmacy, wards and Emergency to ensure the availability and utilisations of the resources in line with the vision of the Govt of Punjab.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) along with District Health Officer and Deputy District Health Officer and Medical Suprintendent also reviewed the record management, data uploading and reporting mechanism on the dedicated Computerized Applications. Worthy Dignitary also assessed the cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment available in the hospital.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) along with Dr. Anjam Qadeer (DDHO) and other officials also interacted with the public & patients to take feedback on the quality of services offered to them. Worthy Dignitary also reviewed the attendance of the staff as per the duty roster.

Today on 15.05.2026, Gen. (R) Azhar Mehmood, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health along with Mir Reza Ozgen Deputy Commissioner Jhelum* visited DHQ Hospital Jhelum and inaugurated the ongoing Health Week Camp.

During the visit, they reviewed the arrangements made for patients and appreciated the efforts being made to provide quality healthcare services.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat, CEO DHA Jhelum also accompanied them during the visit and briefed them on the activities being carried out under Health Week across the district.

ڈاکٹر مظہر حیات 'چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر' جہلم نے ضلعی ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال جہلم میں 'ہیلتھ ویک' کے سلسلے میں قائم ہیلتھ کیمپ کا دورہ کیا. طبی، تشخیصی اور ادویات کی فراہمی کے لیے انتظامات کا بغور جائزہ لیا. انتظامات کی مزید بہتری کے ضروری ہدایات جاری کیں.

*Health Week 2026 – Monitoring Visit*

On 14th May 2026, in connection with the ongoing Health Week, Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat, CEO DHA Jhelum paid a monitoring visit to DHQ Hospital Jhelum to review service delivery and arrangements.

✅ Separate counters for male and female patients were operational.
✅ Real-time patient data entry was being ensured.
✅ Adequate stock of medicines and vaccines was available.
✅ Cleanliness and overall arrangements were satisfactory.

The CEO appreciated the ongoing efforts of the hospital staff and issued on-the-spot directions for further improvement to ensure quality healthcare services for the public during Health Week 2026.

*Anti-Quackery Campaign – District Jhelum*

Following the initiative of of the , District Jhelum has also intensified its Anti-Quackery campaign against illegal medical practices.

Under the supervision of Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat CEO DHA Jhelum, DDHOs are actively conducting operations in their respective tehsils. During May 2026, action has been taken against illegal healthcare setups, and 12 illegal clinics have been sealed so far.

This campaign reflects our commitment to protecting public health and ensuring safe, lawful medical services for the citizens of Jhelum. Strict action against quackery will continue without discrimination.

Under CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Sehat Mand Punjab” initiative, free health screening camps will be held across District Jhelum from 14th to 16th May.

*Free Services*: Hepatitis, Diabetes, TB/Malaria, HIV screening, Maternal & Child Health and Primary Medical Care.
