Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf in his capacity as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Governors (BoG) of Bahria University, chaired the 56th Board of Governors meeting at Bahria University Head Office, Islamabad.
Board reviewed the university's progress in advancing flagship academic programmes, strengthening research and innovation, improving international rankings, enhancing student learning experiences, and developing academic and institutional infrastructure. Progress on applied research and commercialization initiatives, including AI-driven projects, was also reviewed. The Board noted significant improvements across all domains and efforts to enhance global visibility, advancement and alumni engagement initiatives, academic and administrative excellence, research productivity and international partnerships.
The meeting was attended by the Board members, representatives from Ministries and HEC, senior advisors/ academicians.
