National Center for Cyber Security (NCCS) is established by Government of Pakistan (Planning Commission) through HEC for conducting research and development in specialised fields of cyber security. National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS) has established by Government of Pakistan under the umbrella of Higher Education Commission (HEC) in June 2018 through Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP

) funding. The Centre constitutes Research and Development (R&D) Labs in 11 reputed universities of Pakistan/ These universities were given the mandate to establish NCCS affiliated Labs in different specialized areas of cyber security under the secretariat of Centre. Air University houses the secretariat of NCCS in addition to the two affiliated labs in the domain of Cyber Crime Forensics and Smart Devices and Networks Security. The Centre is playing cruical role in promoting R&D and cyber security awareness in Pakistan and it is well acknowledged by National and International entities.
