وفاقی حکومت کا پیٹرول اور ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں کمی کا فیصلہ

وزیراعظم نے قوم سے وعدہ کیا تھا کہ جیسے ہی گنجائش پیدا ہو گی، عوام کو ریلیف دیا جائے گا۔ اس وعدے پر ہو بہو عمل کیا گیا ہے۔

وفاقی حکومت نے سخت ترین حالات میں بھی عوام کے لئے ریلیف کا سلسلہ جاری رکھا اور پبلک/گڈز ٹرانسپورٹ اور موٹر سائیکل اور رکشہ استعمال کرنے والوں کے لئے فیول پر سبسڈی دی۔ جب خطے کے دوسرے ممالک میں پیٹرول حاصل کرنے کے لئے قطاریں لگی ہوئی تھیں، پاکستان میں وزیراعظم کے بر وقت اقدامات کی بدولت عوام کو پیٹرول اور ڈیزل دستیاب تھا۔ جب دنیا میں تیل کا بد ترین بحران تھا، اس دوران عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے باوجود وزیراعظم کی جانب سے 130 روپے سے زائد کی سبسڈی دے کر تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کو روکا گیا اور سبسڈی کی مد میں بھی عوام کو ریلیف مہیا کیا گیا۔

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Petroleum Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Mr. Faheem ur Rehman to discuss matters related to the business environment, investment facilitation, and the energy supply situation in the country.

During the meeting, the Federal Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting the investment climate and ensuring maximum facilitation for the business community. He stated that the Government is taking practical steps to promote economic stability, encourage investment, and strengthen coordination with relevant stakeholders.

President LCCI Faheem ur Rehman appreciated the Federal Government’s diplomatic efforts and stated that Pakistan has demonstrated responsible and effective diplomacy in the prevailing regional situation. He also commended the Ministry of Petroleum for ensuring continuity of supply and efficient handling of the situation despite disruptions caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Faheem ur Rehman particularly praised Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik for his proactive leadership and effective management in addressing energy-related challenges and ensuring stability for the industrial and commercial sectors. He also shared suggestions and proposals from the business community aimed at further improving the investment environment and addressing key issues faced by industries.

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Petroleum Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik today witnessed the signing ceremony of Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) and Exploration Licences (ELs) for offshore exploration blocks awarded under the Offshore Bid Round 2025, marking the formal reopening of Pakistan’s offshore frontier after nearly two decades.

The awarded blocks are located in the Indus and Makran offshore basins adjoining the territorial waters of Sindh and Balochistan.

Speaking at the occasion, the Federal Minister for Petroleum termed the signing a defining milestone in the Government’s efforts to revitalise offshore exploration, attract both foreign and domestic investment, and reduce reliance on imported energy. He noted that the agreements reflect strong investor confidence in Pakistan’s offshore upstream potential,

Pakistan, Japan Vow to Further Strengthen Cooperation in Geosciences and Mineral Research

Federal Minister for Petroleum Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik welcomed the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan during his visit to the Geoscience Advance Research Laboratories (GARL) of the Geological Survey of Pakistan.
