The Governor appreciated SSDO’s contributions to strengthening Parliamentary Democracy, Institutional Strengthening, Human Trafficking, Counter-Terrorism (CT), Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) efforts across Pakistan, and emphasized the importance of collective action for sustainable peace and security.

Honored to welcome Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, to SSDO Head Office in Islamabad on the occasion of SSDO’s 10th Anniversary.

The visit highlighted the importance of collective action in strengthening Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism, terrorist financing, and violent extremism. The Governor appreciated SSDO’s decade-long contributions to research, policy dialogue, institutional capacity building, and stakeholder engagement in the areas of CT, CFT, and CVE.

International Conference on Lifestyle Challenges and Strategies for Health, Gender, and Climate Sustainability successfully organized by Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) and Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) in collaboration with Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and World University Association for Community Development (WUACD).

The conference brought together renowned scholars, policymakers, researchers, parliamentarians, practitioners, and international delegates from across the globe to discuss pressing challenges related to climate change, public health, gender equality, and sustainable development.

Insightful panel discussions and academic sessions highlighted the importance of international collaboration, climate justice, sustainable lifestyles, environmental governance, and evidence-based policymaking for a resilient future. 🌱🤝

Strengthening Parliamentary Engagement for a Safer, Inclusive, and Resilient Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sustainable Social Development Organization signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to enhance collaboration on counter terrorism, counter terrorist financing, transnational organized crimes, countering violent extremism, nutrition governance, migration governance, rule of law and access to justice, environmental justice, youth development, women empowerment, and child rights through research, advocacy, and capacity building of parliamentarians and parliamentary committees.

The MoU was signed by Secretary Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Syed Wiqar Shah and Executive Director SSDO Syed Kausar Abbas in the presence of Honorable Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Babar Saleem Swati, and members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

An awareness session on “Migration: Risks, Choices and Regular Pathways” was successfully organized by the Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) in collaboration with C-SAM with youth participants in District Mandi Bahauddin.

The session focused on creating awareness among young people about the risks associated with irregular migration, informed decision-making, and safe & legal migration pathways. Around 60 participants actively attended and engaged in the discussion.

Together, we continue to empower youth through awareness, informed choices, and safer opportunities for the future.
