Garden Pests: Know Your Enemy

Every gardener faces the challenge of protecting their plants from pests. These common invaders can quickly devastate a thriving garden, making it essential to recognize and understand them.

Sap-Sucking Pests like aphids, whiteflies, and leafhoppers may be small, but they cause serious damage by piercing plant tissue and draining vital nutrients. Aphids reproduce explosively and spread plant viruses, while whiteflies create sticky honeydew that attracts mold. Leafhoppers inject toxins that cause leaf burn and carry plant diseases.

Caterpillars are among the most voracious feeders. Tomato hornworms can strip plants bare in days, while cabbage loopers and worms burrow into vegetable heads. Corn borers tunnel into stalks, and cutworms sever seedlings at ground level under cover of darkness.

۱۔ الٹرنیریا فنگس کی وجہ سے ابتدائی جھلس جانا، ٹماٹروں پر پتوں کے داغ کی بیماری کی سب سے عام قسم ہے۔ ابتدائی جھلک گرم، مرطوب علاقوں میں زیادہ پھیلتی ہے اور ایک سال تک مٹی میں رہتی ہے۔ گیلا موسم حملہ آور ہو سکتا ہے۔ ابتدائی جھلسنے سے متاثر ہونے والے علاقوں میں، EB (Early Blight) کے لیبل کے ساتھ بیماری سے بچنے والی کاشت کا انتخاب کریں۔

علامات: حلقوں کے ساتھ گھیرے ہوئے گہرے بھورے دھبے سب سے نچلے پتوں پر شروع ہوتے ہیں اور اوپر کی طرف بڑھتے ہیں، آخر کار پتوں کو سڑنے، سوکھنے اور گرنے کا باعث بنتے ہیں۔ تنوں اور پھلوں پر زخم پیدا ہوتے ہیں۔ انحطاط سورج کی تپش کا سبب بنتا ہے۔

انتظام: کنٹرول: نچلے پتوں کو ہٹا دیں، بشمول متاثرہ پودوں کا ایک تہائی حصہ۔ انفیکشن کی پہلی علامت پر یا بیماری کے بڑھنے کے لیے موسمی حالات سازگار ہونے پر ٹماٹر کی فنگسائڈ لگائیں۔ متاثرہ پودوں کو کھاد نہ بنائیں۔

درخت لگانے کے بارے میں دس احادیث-

حدیث نمبر 1

مومن ایک بڑھتے ہوئے درخت کی مانند ہے “مومن کی مثال ایک تازہ پودے کی سی ہے۔ ہوا جس سمت سے بھی آتی ہے اسے موڑ دیتی ہے لیکن جب ہوا تھم جاتی ہے تو پودا پھر سیدھا ہو جاتا ہے۔
‘‘ حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، بخاری

حدیث نمبر 2

ایک درخت لگاؤ ​​خواہ وہ تمہارا آخری عمل ہو۔"اگر قیامت قائم ہونے والی ہو اور تم میں سے کسی کے پاس کھجور کی ٹہنی ہو تو وہ اس کے لگانے کے لیے قیامت قائم ہونے سے ایک سیکنڈ پہلے بھی فائدہ اٹھائے۔ " - البانی۔

حدیث نمبر 3

درخت لگانا ثواب کا ایک قابل تجدید ذریعہ ہے "اگر کوئی مسلمان درخت لگاتا ہے یا بیج بوتا ہے اور پھر اس میں سے کوئی پرندہ یا انسان یا جانور کھاتا ہے تو یہ اس کے لیے صدقہ ہے۔" - امام بخاری

حدیث نمبر 4

وسائل کی حفاظت کریں یہاں تک کہ جب وہ معمول کی رسومات کے لیے استعمال ہوں تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا گزر ایک صحابی سعد کے پاس سے ہوا جب وہ ایک ندی کے کنارے وضو کر رہے تھے۔ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ سعد یہ فضول خرچی کیا ہے؟
سعد نے جواب دیا: کیا وضو میں اسراف (اسراف) کا خیال ہوسکتا ہے؟
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، اگرچہ تم بہتی ہوئی ندی کے کنارے ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔ – ابن ماجہ۔

حدیث نمبر 5

ماحول کو صاف ستھرا رکھنا کمیونٹی کو برقرار رکھتا ہے "ان تین کاموں سے بچو جو آپ پر لعنت کا باعث بنتے ہیں: [1] اپنے آپ کو سایہ دار جگہوں پر (جنہیں لوگ استعمال کرتے ہیں)، واک وے یا پانی کی جگہ پر۔" اسے معاذ، حسن، البانی نے روایت کیا ہے۔

حفظان صحت اور صفائی (طہرہ) اسلام کے لیے اس قدر لازم و ملزوم ہے کہ یہ دراصل مسلمانوں کے عقیدے کی ایک بڑی ذیلی شاخ ہے۔ جسمانی صفائی کے بغیر نماز ٹوٹ جاتی ہے۔ صاف ستھرا سہولیات کے بغیر آلودگی شہروں کو برباد کر دیتی ہے، اور اپنی پاکیزگی کو بہتر بنانے کی کوشش کے بغیر، کوڑا کرکٹ جیسی بیرونی بدعنوانی کو روکنا مشکل ہو جاتا ہے۔

حدیث نمبر 6

چنانچہ، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گلیوں کی صفائی کے بارے میں فرمایا، "سڑک سے نقصان دہ چیزوں کو ہٹانا صدقہ ہے۔" ابوذر غفاری نے روایت کی ہے۔

حدیث نمبر 7

زیادہ کھانے کو نہ کہو (یا کم سے کم) عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مومن وہ نہیں جو پیٹ بھر کر کھائے اور اس کا پڑوسی بھوکا ہو۔ البانی نے توثیق کی ہے۔

حدیث نمبر 8

"جو شخص اپنا پیٹ بھرتا ہے اس سے بدتر کوئی چیز نہیں۔ ابن آدم کے لیے بھوک مٹانے کے لیے چند کاٹے کافی ہیں۔ اگر وہ زیادہ چاہے تو یہ ہونا چاہیے: ایک تہائی اس کے کھانے کے لیے، ایک تہائی اس کے مائعات کے لیے، اور ایک تہائی اس کی سانس کے لیے۔ ترمذی اور ابن ماجہ۔

حدیث نمبر 9

نئی اشیاء خریدنے سے پہلے ری سائیکلنگ اور فکسنگ پر غور کریں جب یہ پوچھا گیا کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے گھر میں کیسے رہتے تھے، تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اہلیہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ وہ اپنے جوتے خود ٹھیک کرتی تھیں، اپنے کپڑے سیتی تھیں اور تمام کام خود کرتی تھیں۔ اس طرح کے گھریلو کام بغیر کسی شکایت کے کیے جاتے ہیں یا مزید کچھ چاہتے ہیں۔ (البانی کی توثیق)

جانوروں کی دیکھ بھال کی جانی چاہئے: “ایک آدمی کو بہت پیاس لگی جب وہ راستے میں تھا، وہاں اس نے ایک کنواں دیکھا۔ وہ کنویں میں اترا، پیاس بجھائی اور باہر نکلا۔ اسی دوران اس نے ایک کتے کو دیکھا جو زیادہ پیاس کی وجہ سے ہانپ رہا تھا اور مٹی چاٹ رہا تھا۔ اس نے اپنے آپ سے کہا، ’’یہ کتا بھی پیاس سے اسی طرح تڑپ رہا ہے جیسا کہ میں تھا۔‘‘ چنانچہ وہ دوبارہ کنویں میں گیا، اپنے جوتے کو پانی سے بھرا، اسے منہ سے پکڑا اور کتے کو پانی پلایا۔ اللہ نے اس کی اس حرکت کی قدر کی اور اسے معاف کر دیا۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا جانوروں کی خدمت کرنے میں ہمارے لیے کوئی ثواب ہے؟ اس نے جواب دیا: "کسی بھی جاندار کی خدمت کرنے کا ثواب ہے۔"

نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جانوروں کا انتظام کیا، جیسا کہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث بیان کی۔ ابو ہریرہ کے نام کا ترجمہ 'بلی کے بچوں کا باپ' ہے، یہ نام اس لیے رکھا گیا ہے کہ وہ بلی کے بچوں کو اپنے لباس کی آستین میں لے جانے کے لیے جانا جاتا تھا۔

ماحولیاتی بہبود کے نظام میں جانوروں کا بہت بڑا کردار ہے۔ جانوروں کے حقوق کے حوالے سے شریعت کے اصول کسی بھی فرد کے لیے معذور جانوروں کی دیکھ بھال، آوارہ جانوروں کو بچانے اور پرندوں کے انڈوں کے گھونسلے کی حفاظت کا پابند بناتے ہیں۔
