The School and its working:-
The Experiment of nationalization of educational institutions in Pakistan in 1972 proved to be a total failure, and the stander of education become bad worse. The admission problem took also a serious shape and the demand for opening more schools came from every corner of the country. The increasing population of our country needs a network of good schools which could
only be established by the help of private sector. In order to meet the demand of public in 1978 the government asked the philanthropists and the educationists to come forward and open new institutions. With this end in view Prof: Arshad Raza Rizvi came forward and established a Middle School under the name " Cosmopolitan English Medium School" in April 1978. Due to his selfless service, persistent endeavor and missionary zeal the school has been raised to high School level. The primary object of establishment of Cosmopolitan High School was to promote and expend the educational illiteracy ad thus to produce better citizens, and workers through sound, systematic and standard means of education. The School prepares student for Secondary School Certificates Examination (Science Group) of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad. The medium of teaching is English (I to X) but an equal emphasis is laid on the teaching of Urdu, Sindhi and Islamiyat also occupies an important place in the syllabus. Monthly Tests are given in every class in order to assess the achievement of every student in various subjects. Terminal Examinations are also held. The results of the Terminal Examinations are kept in records of the school. Progress Reports are sent to the guardians regularly at the end of each term.
