🌊 Fisheries Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & District Administration Haripur Join Hands for Fish Biodiversity Conservation! 🌊
In a dedicated effort toward the replenishment and sustainable conservation of fish biodiversity, the Fisheries Department KPK, with the support of the District Administration Haripur, conducted a large-scale fish seed stocking drive across the district's water bodies, including dams, lakes, and streams.

📍 Location: Small dams and rivers of District Haripur
The event, organized by the Fisheries Department Haripur, involved stocking young fish ("fish seed") in several key water bodies. Bhutti (Chittri) Dam, Kahal Dam, Jhangra Dam, and Khairbara Dam, along with River Dorh, River Harro, and River Siren, were enriched with fresh fish stock to support ecological balance and enhance fish populations.

- Mr. Jan Nisar – Deputy Director of Fisheries at Tarbela & Khanpur Dams
- Mr. Muhammad Faraz Qureshi – Representative from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Haripur
- Mr. Aziz Ur Rehman – Representative from the Office of the Director General Fisheries Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar
- Staff from the Fisheries Department

🌊 فشریز ڈیپارٹمنٹ خیبر پختونخوا اور ضلعی انتظامیہ ہری پور نے مل کر مچھلیوں کی حیاتیاتی تنوع کے تحفظ کے لیے اقدامات کیے! 🌊
مچھلیوں کی حیاتیاتی تنوع کی بحالی اور پائیدار تحفظ کے لیے فشریز ڈیپارٹمنٹ خیبر پختونخوا نے ضلعی انتظامیہ ہری پور کے تعاون سے ایک بڑے پیمانے پر مچھلیوں کے بیج (Fish Seed) کی ذخیرہ کاری مہم کا انعقاد کیا۔ اس مہم کے تحت ضلع کے آبی ذخائر، بشمول ڈیمز، جھیلیں اور ندی نالے، مچھلیوں کے بیج سے بھرتے گئے۔

اس تقریب کا اہتمام فشریز ڈیپارٹمنٹ ہری پور نے کیا جس میں کئی اہم آبی ذخائر میں مچھلیوں کے بیج چھوڑے گئے۔ بھٹڑی (چھتڑی) ڈیم، کاہل ڈیم، جھنگڑا ڈیم اور خیر باڑه ڈیم کے ساتھ ساتھ دریائے ڈور، دریائے ہرو اور دریائے سیرن میں بھی مچھلی کے بیج شامل کیے گئے تاکہ ماحولیاتی توازن کو برقرار رکھتے ہوئے مچھلیوں کی آبادی میں اضافہ کیا جا سکے۔
