Govt. Degree College Darya Khan (Bhakkar) Govt. Degree College Darya Khan Darya Khan is situated on the bank of the river Sindh. The inhabitants of Darya Khan are very patriotic and sincere.

In the west green and fresh area adjacent to Sindh River is located while the richest Thal is in the east of Darya Khan. Owing to lack of higher institutions the intelligent students of Darya Khan are being deprived of higher education. For the educational quench of students the people of Darya Khan demanded a degree college from Punjab Assembly in 1983 but they could not attain success due to ine

ffective movement.
“College Banao Tehreek” provoked again in 1998 voice for the formation of college aroused in every corner of Darya khan. In this way, a young public representative felt the voice of his public and he did utmost effort for this public demand. He succeeded in issuing separate notifications for boys & girls Degree College for Darya Khan from the Chief Minister of Punjab in 24th January 2004. Citizens of Darya Khan are very polite and faithful. They are very thankful to honorable MPA Mr. Sana Ullah Khan Masti Khail for establishment Degree College in Darya khan. It is hoped that he would work for the betterment of education. Owing to the disability of building, Govt. Degree College Darya Khan is running in the building of Govt. Higher Secondary School Darya Khan. Since September 2004, Govt. Degree College Darya Khan is deprived of its own building. We hope that the ruling authorities of District Bhakkar and the public of Darya Khan would co-operate for the development of this educational institution. It is hoped that the Government would allot land for the building of this institution. We also hope from MNA Abdul Majid Khanan Khail that he would also part for the acquisition of land for Govt. Degree College Darya Khan. We shall also feel proud that the talented resolute and courageous politician Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif (M.P.A pp48) the Chief Minister of Punjab would announce mega special package for Govt. We demand the prayers from the inhibitions of Darya Khan Public representative and higher political authorities of Tehsil Darya Khan and District that may Allah confer us success in this sacred educational responsibility.
