Stem and root borer was observed in sugar cane field, whereas nematodes and wilt was observed in tomato crops. Farmers were advised various IPM techniques for control of pests.

In order to ensure availability of quality Agriculture inputs in the district, field staff of Agriculture extension department Charsadda visiting various pesticide and fertilizer dealers. Registration, active ingredients, and other relevant composition were checked. Dealers were strongly directed to maintain sale purchase record of inputs. Samples were taken for lab analysis from suspected products.
