President Rabia Usman attended the launch of the Women’s Economic Charter of Pakistan 2026–2035, hosted by FPCCI, a landmark initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment and inclusive national development.

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh, President FPCCI, and organized by Ms. Qurrat ul Ain, Vice President FPCCI. The Women Business Incubation Center (WBIC), Women Development Department, Government of Punjab, in collaboration with the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Bahawalpur, organized a Project Display for the “Startup Development” course at Bahawalpur Satellite Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The event showcased innovative business models and prototypes developed by women entrepreneurs during the training program under the guidance of Dr. Muhammad Fahad. Participants presented a diverse range of ideas, including business solutions, food-related ventures, and traditional handicrafts of Bahawalpur.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, along with senior faculty members, visited the stalls, interacted with participants, and appreciated the efforts of the incubatees. He commended WBIC Bahawalpur for its role in empowering women through entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for economic growth and social mobility.

The event reflected a shared commitment to supporting women-led enterprises and fostering innovation at the grassroots level.
