Press Release | Seminar “From Crisis to Care” Successfully Concluded
A significant seminar on youth mental health titled “From Crisis to Care” was successfully concluded in Badin. The event stood as more than an academic gathering; it emerged as a meaningful collective step toward awareness, dialogue, and shared social responsibility.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address by the Campus Coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Tufail Chandio, who highlighted the objectives and significance of the seminar.
Later, traditional lungis were presented to the distinguished guests by representatives of various partner organizations, reflecting the rich cultural values of respect and hospitality.
The keynote speakers shared their expert insights on youth mental health challenges, contemporary psychological issues, and practical intervention strategies. Their contributions provided both academic depth and practical understanding to the participants.

Prof. Dr. Chunni Lal (Head of Psychiatry, JPMC Karachi)
Associate Prof. Dr. Ilyas Jatt (Institute of Behavioral Sciences, Dow University Karachi)
Assistant Prof. Dr. Qalb-e-Haider (Sir Cowasjee Jehangir Institute of Psychiatry, Hyderabad)
The special efforts of Senator Dr. Kareem Ahmed Khawaja were highly appreciated, as he not only patronized the initiative but also actively participated alongside the speakers. His presence and guidance significantly strengthened the academic and social impact of the event.
At the conclusion, Sir Abdul Jabbar Habibani delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all distinguished guests, institutions, partner organizations, volunteers, and participants.
