On the directions of the Assistant Commissioner, Arifwala, Enforcement Officer Abdullah Safdar and his team conducted a detailed price control inspection across various markets of Arifwala to ensure strict compliance with the government-notified rates of essential commodities.
During the visit, the prices of daily-use items including flour, sugar, pulses, vegetables, fruits, and other essential goods were thoroughly examined. The inspection also included verification of the officially notified rate lists and their proper and visible display at business premises, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Traders found adhering to the notified prices and maintaining proper display of rate lists were appreciated for their compliance and cooperation. . Legal action was taken against the violators, and fines were imposed in line with the relevant provisions of law.
The Enforcement Officer emphasized that strict monitoring will continue and that no leniency will be shown towards profiteering or violation of price control regulations. The district administration remains committed to ensuring transparency, market discipline, and relief to the general public.
