Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School Abbottabad

The Ehsaas-e-Shajar – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Plantation Drive was celebrated at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School (KPFS), Abbottabad, in coordination with the faculty and students of Rising Light Public High School. A total of 50 fruit plants of different species were planted within the premises of KPFS to contribute to the One Million Plantation Drive, as per the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The event was attended by Syed Tariq Ali Shah, Principal/DCF KPFS, Mr. Shabir Ahmed, DFO Range Management, Mrs. Samina Jadoon, MD, Mr. Malik Naseem Ahmad, Principal Rising Light Public High School, Dr. Shafique Quraishi, Member Running & Hiking Club Pakistan, and Mr. Sami Bangash, Chief Planning Officer, Higher Education.
In order to encourage young students and create awareness among the public, a prep class student, Miss Zyra Whab, was declared as the Chief Guest of the event. Her participation symbolized the importance of involving the younger generation in environmental conservation and plantation activities.

"احساسِ شجر – خیبر پختونخوا" شجرکاری مہم خیبر پختونخوا فارسٹ اسکول (KPFS) ایبٹ آباد میں Rising Light پبلک ہائی اسکول کے اساتذہ اور طلباء کے تعاون سے منعقد کی گئی۔ اس مہم کے دوران مختلف اقسام کے 50 پھلدار پودے KPFS کے احاطے میں لگائے گئے تاکہ وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کی ہدایات کے مطابق "ون ملین شجرکاری مہم" میں اپنا حصہ ڈالا جا سکے۔
اس تقریب میں سید طارق علی شاہ، پرنسپل/ڈی سی ایف KPFS، جناب شبیر احمد، ڈی ایف او رینج مینجمنٹ، محترمہ ثمینہ جدون، ایم ڈی، جناب ملک نسیم احمد، پرنسپل Rising Light پبلک ہائی اسکول، ڈاکٹر شفیق قریشی، ممبر رننگ اینڈ ہائیکنگ کلب پاکستان، اور جناب سمیع بنگش، چیف پلاننگ آفیسر ہائر ایجوکیشن نے شرکت کی۔
نوجوان طلباء کی حوصلہ افزائی اور عوام میں شعور اجاگر کرنے کے لیے پریپ کلاس کی طالبہ مس زائرہ وہیب کو تقریب کی مہمانِ خصوصی قرار دیا گیا۔ ان کی شرکت اس بات کی علامت ہے کہ ماحولیاتی تحفظ اور شجرکاری مہمات میں نئی نسل کی شمولیت نہایت اہم ہے۔
