The Department of the Interior and Local Government Zamboanga City Field Office, together with the City Government of Zamboanga, participating National Government Agencies, and private sector partners, successfully conducted the third day of the Retooled Community Support Program Ugnayan sa Barangay and Serbisyo Caravan at ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฒ ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ง-๐“๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ง.

The activity continued to bring essential government services and programs directly to the community, reinforcing the commitment of government agencies to deliver responsive, accessible, and people-centered public service. Residents were able to avail of various frontline services including medical consultations, civil registration assistance, information dissemination campaigns, livelihood-related services, and other forms of community assistance provided by participating agencies and partner institutions.

Alongside the Serbisyo Caravan, the RCSP Ugnayan sa Barangay facilitated a community dialogue and diagnosis activity aimed at identifying the priority concerns and development needs of the residents. Community members actively participated in discussions and shared recommendations and insights that may contribute to addressing local issues and strengthening barangay governance. The gathered data and concerns shall be integrated into the enhancement of the Barangay Development Plan to support sustainable and inclusive community development.

Organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the meeting gathered partner agencies and stakeholders to strengthen advocacy efforts against child labor and promote collaborative actions toward child protection.

Among the matters discussed were the Synopsis of the PPACL Communication Plan, updates on the Profiling and Monitoring of Child Laborers in Zamboanga City, and the planning of activities for 2026. Alongside the Serbisyo Caravan, the RCSP Ugnayan sa Barangay Facilitated by the DILG Zamboanga City Headed by OIC-City Director ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ฑ ๐Œ. ๐‹๐ฎ๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐จ conducted a community diagnosis activity to gather and discuss issues and concerns directly from the residents and identify possible solutions through collaborative dialogue. The results of the activity shall be integrated into the enhancement of the Barangay Development Plan, serving as a guide toward responsive and sustainable community development.

The Local Government of Zamboanga City, in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government and various National Government Agencies, is set to conduct the Retooled Community Support Program Ugnayan sa Barangay cm Serbisyo Caravan in selected barangays across the city.

The activity aims to bring essential government programs and frontline services closer to the people through a whole-of-government approach that promotes community engagement, responsive governance, and inclusive public service delivery. Participating agencies will provide various services and assistance directly to residents during the caravan.

In line with this, the official schedule and venue per barangay are now released to guide participating communities and stakeholders. Residents are encouraged to actively participate and avail of the programs and services that will be offered during the activity.
