𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗡 | 2026 El Consejo Atenista General Elections, Proclamation of Winners

The Ateneo Elections Commission (AELECOM), having concluded the official canvassing of votes in coordination with the Center for Information and Technology Service (CITS), hereby issues the formal proclamation of the winners for the 2026 El Consejo Atenista General Elections.

The Commission recognizes the participation of all candidates and the engagement of the student body throughout this democratic exercise.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗡 | 2026 El Consejo Atenista General Elections Next Procedural Phase

The ballots have been cast, and the future of our student leadership is unfolding. As we approach the conclusion of the 2026 ECA General Elections, we are now entering the final procedural phases to ensure a transparent and accurate transition of power.

Here is what to expect in the coming days:

1️⃣ Canvassing of votes by AELECOM in coordination with CITS, will officially tally and verify all cast ballots to ensure every vote is accounted for.

2️⃣ Once the tally is finalized and verified, the official proclamation of our new student leaders will take place.

3️⃣ In the interest of total transparency, AELECOM will release all relevant election documents and final reports for public review.

The current voter turnout for the ongoing El Consejo Atenista General Elections ’26 is hereby released for guidance.

Please be informed that for the ECA positions, as well as the SITEAO and LAAO Governor and Vice Governor positions, there are minor discrepancies in the total voter turnout as reflected in the online election results portal. Voter turnout is based on the aggregate of votes cast, including abstain votes.

With only a few minutes remaining before the voting period closes, Ateneans who have not yet cast their votes are strongly urged to do so now. Immediate participation is essential in ensuring that every voice is represented in this electoral process.

At this time, inconsistencies in the system are retained for El Consejo Atenista (ECA) Executive Positions, as well as for the Liberal Arts Academic Organization and Science, Information Technology, and Engineering Academic Organization. Amidst such discrepancies, the Commission continues to work on its remedy in order to arrive at a credible election for the student body.

As the voting period comes to its last day, Ateneans are called upon to participate in this democratic process more than ever! ⏳ If you have not voted yet, cast your ballots now simply through your AdZU portals.
