The activity aims to provide school administrators, teachers, staff, and students with easy access to the emergency hotline numbers of the Zamboanga City Fire District and its Fire Sub-Stations in case of fire incidents and other emergencies. It also highlights the importance of being prepared and aware of the proper emergency contacts, helping schools strengthen their safety measures.

Schools play an important role in keeping everyone safe, and having quick access to emergency services can make a difference during emergencies.

Through awareness, preparedness, and cooperation, we can help reduce risks, protect lives, and build a safer community.

FIRE SAFETY TIPS

- Know Your Exits: 2 escape routes per room + keep them clear. That’s the #1 thing that saves lives.
- Crawl Low Under Smoke: Smoke kills before flames do. Stay low, cover nose/mouth.

- Fire Alarms Save Lives: Test monthly, new batteries yearly. No alarm = no warning.

- Stop, Drop, and Roll: Bottom right is cut off, but that’s for if your clothes catch fire.

The “Stay Out, Stay Alive” one is tough but important. Once you’re out, don’t go back in for phones, pets, etc. Let firefighters handle it.

-Child safety: Keep matches and other flammable objects out of reach of children

- Liquids: Store gasoline and cleaning materials outside the house

- Open flames: Keep an eye on burning candles
