As the 2026 Hajj season draws to a close, Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim, serving as ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ท๐ท, together with Consul General Rommel A. Romato, hosted a meaningful Hajj Night on behalf of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), the Philippine Hajj Mission, the Hajj Attachรฉ, and NCMF officials to honor the individuals and institutions whose support contributed to the successful conduct of this yearโs Hajj operations.
The gathering was attended by officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Philippine Ambassador Raymond R. Balatbat, government partners, service providers, esteemed Saudi friends and partners, as well as respected shuyukh who graciously shared their reflections, insights, and experiences from this yearโs Hajj journey.
Their cooperation, guidance, and commitment were instrumental in ensuring the welfare, spiritual enrichment, and smooth journey of our Filipino pilgrims.
As we celebrate this achievement, we also extend our deepest appreciation to the many dedicated men and women working behind the scenesโthose who may not be in the photographs but whose tireless efforts made a lasting impact. From the operations, transport, accommodation, logistics, airport, billeting, administrative, technical, and support teams, your long hours, sacrifices, and unwavering dedication were essential to the success of the Philippine Hajj Mission.
This accomplishment is the result of a collective effort, and every contribution, whether visible or unseen, has been invaluable.
May Allah (SWT) accept the efforts of everyone who served our hujjaj, reward your sacrifices abundantly, grant our pilgrims a Hajj Mabroor, and continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and brotherhood forged throughout this blessed season.
