AVRC III joined the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held today, September 10, 2026, with our persons with disabilities (PWD) clients taking part in the activity.

The drill gave our clients and staff the opportunity to practice what to do before, during, and after an earthquake, including Duck, Cover, and Hold and the safe and orderly evacuation of everyone from the building.

For AVRC III, preparedness also means making sure that our PWD clients are included in safety and emergency activities. Their participation is an important part of building confidence, awareness, and readiness in times of emergencies.

Today’s drill was a simple but meaningful reminder that being prepared can help keep everyone safe.

Preparedness is for everyone. No one should be left behind.

Blessing of the AVRC III Dormitories and Beauty Care Training Room

A significant milestone was marked with the blessing of the Male and Female Dormitories of AVRC III and the Beauty Care Training Room, officiated by Rev. Fr. Butch Candido.

The blessing signifies our gratitude for these facilities and our continued commitment to providing safe, conducive, and supportive spaces for learning and skills development.

May these facilities serve as places where our trainees can gain valuable skills, build confidence, and prepare for greater opportunities ahead. 🙏

AVRC III gathers in joyful devotion to celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary 🌹

In solemn thanksgiving, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand “Butch” Candido, who prayerfully led the AVRC III community in honoring Mama Mary and giving thanks for her loving maternal presence and intercession. 🙏

On this blessed occasion, may Mary’s life of humility, steadfast faith, and wholehearted obedience to God continue to inspire us to live with grace and to follow her example of loving service.

May our Blessed Mother gently accompany our community, guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and continually lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. 💙

O Mary, conceived in grace and crowned in glory, pray for us and watch over the AVRC III family. 🌹🙏

Happy Birthday, dearest Mama Mary! 💙✨

🦯 Walking Toward Independence, Inclusion, and Empowerment! 🤍

AVRC III proudly celebrates White Cane Safety Day with our guests and visitors from the Philippine Chamber of Livelihood Enterprise for the Visually Impaired, led by Dr. Ronel Delrio, DPA.

💡 Trivia: In the Philippines, August 1 is White Cane Safety Day, as declared under RA 6759 or the White Cane Act of 1989. The white cane symbolizes mobility, independence, safety, dignity, and inclusion for persons with visual impairment.

May we continue to create a world where every person with disability has the freedom to move, the opportunity to work, and the right to fully participate in society.

Together, we walk the path toward inclusion. 🦯💙

Lunes Vibes: Mga Panalo, Pag-unlad at Bagong Simula ⭐

A meaningful Monday at AVRC III! 🇵🇭✨

This week’s Flag Ceremony, hosted by the Social Adjustment Section (SAS), was a celebration of growth, achievement, wellness, and new beginnings among our clients.

🏅 Celebrating Positive Growth
Selected clients were recognized for their good personalities, positive behaviors, and commendable performance during their stay at AVRC III—highlighting that rehabilitation is not only about developing skills, but also building confidence, discipline, and positive character.

🌱 Moving to the Next Phase
Clients who are advancing to the next phase of their rehabilitation journey, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, were also recognized for their progress and readiness to take on new challenges.

🎓 26 Clients, One Step Closer to OJT
We also celebrate the journey of 26 clients who are set to proceed to On-the-Job Training (OJT) this month, following their Skills Assessment through the Vocational Training Services (VTS). This milestone brings them closer to applying their acquired skills in actual work environments and taking another meaningful step toward independence. 💪✨

💙 Taking Care of Mental Well-Being
Resident Psychologist Ms. Lady Lois Cabatingan, through the Psychological Services, shared reminders on stress management and emotional well-being, reassuring staff and clients that support and assistance are always available whenever needed.

☔ Health and Safety Amid Changing Weather
Center Nurse Ms. Marilou Pepito, through the Medical Services, reminded everyone to take extra precautions due to the expected weather conditions this week and to seek appropriate health services whenever necessary.

🛡️ TCS Hour: Strengthening Safety and Quality Service
During the Training Center Superintendent (TCS) Hour, the Center Head issued important directives to the Administrative Services to strengthen and heighten security measures following the recent incident in the locality. All concerned were reminded to maintain orderliness and cleanliness and, most importantly, to ensure the welfare and safety of all clients and staff within the CRCF compound.

All staff were likewise reminded to be responsive and extend their services whenever needed, while consistently upholding 100% quality in the delivery of services.

At AVRC III, every Monday is an opportunity to recognize achievements, strengthen our commitment to rehabilitation, and remind ourselves that quality service begins with a safe, caring, and supportive environment.

Together, we celebrate progress. Together, we stay safe. Together, we serve with excellence. 💙
