ZCPO Recognizes Personnel for Exceptional Performance and Commitment
PCOL FIDEL B. FORTALEZA JR., City Director, led the awarding of deserving personnel of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) was held at Ron Pablo Lorenzo Street, Zamboanga City, in recognition of their exemplary performance, dedication, and invaluable contributions to the accomplishment of the unit's mission and programs.
A Plaque of Commendation was awarded to PLTCOL MENDEL SALES CASAO, Deputy City Director for Administration (DCDA) in grateful commendation of his service to Zamboanga City Police Office during the successful conduct of Aid Hoc Committee in Relation to CY 2026 Patrolman/ Patrolwoman Attrition Quota held last March 30-April 30, 2026 at ZCPO.
A Plaque of Commendation was awarded to PLTCOL PAUL ANDRES S CORTES, Deputy City Director for Operations (DCDO) in grateful commendation of his service to Zamboanga City Police Office during the peaceful observance of Semana Santa (Holy Week) held last March 29- April 5, 2026 in Zamboanga City.

A LETTER OF COMMENDATION was awarded to PMAJ CHESTER N NATIVIDAD and personnel for their remarkable commitment, dedication, and exemplary duty as members of the Zamboanga City Police Office, Criminal Investigation and Detective Management Unit during the successful conduct of In Flagrante Delicto operation that resulted in the arrest of two (2) individuals for Violation of Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code and Violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act). The operation led to the confiscation of three (3) Class-A light weapons, particularly: one (1) unit HK 415 caliber 5.56mm 45, and two (2) units U.S. Rifle 7.62mm M14 respectively, all possessed without the necessary license or permit from the proper authorities.
A LETTER OF COMMENDATION was awarded to PLT ELVIE O AGUILAR and personnel for their remarkable commitment, dedication, and exemplary duty as members of the Zamboanga City Police Office/City Education and Training Unit (CPPU) during the successful conduct of Counter Terrorist Operation to 1st ZCMFC Personnel held last May 25-29, 2026, at 1st ZCMFC, Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City.

Serving as a core institutional mechanism to evaluate human rights knowledge and operational standards, the examination was successfully completed by a total of one hundred six (106) ZCPO promotable personnel.

Office, Women and Children's Protection Desk/during the successful filing of case for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), through regular filing on January 14, 2026.
