The Department of Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Zamboanga City (DOH TRC-ZC), headed by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐈. 𝐑𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐬, successfully hosted the Training Course on Full Accreditation for Physicians on the Assessment and Management of Drug Dependence (Module 1.0 & Module 2.0): Practical Drug Dependency Examination of Actual Patients on May 27, 2026.

The activity was conducted by the Department of Health Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development (DOH ZP-CHD), headed by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧-𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚.

This practical component provided participants with valuable hands-on experience in conducting Drug Dependency Examinations (DDE) in a structured and supportive learning environment under the close supervision of qualified facilitators, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐓. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚, Chief of Hospital of DATRC Cebu, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐲𝐚, Chief Health Program Officer of DATRC Argao.

DOH TRC-ZC expresses its sincere appreciation to the organizers and facilitators for selecting the Center as the venue for this important training activity. The Center is honored to have been chosen as a learning site and to contribute to the continuous professional development of healthcare practitioners dedicated to the assessment and management of drug dependence.

The Department of Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – Zamboanga City (DOH TRC-ZC), under the leadership of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐈. 𝐑𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐬, successfully conducted the Gender and Development (GAD) Orientation cm Gender Sensitivity Training Program.

This activity aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding of gender equality, inclusivity, and the importance of integrating GAD principles in the workplace and community.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and especially to our esteemed resource speaker, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐌. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨, Certified Member of the National Resource Pool of PCW, for generously sharing his expertise, insights, and valuable knowledge on Gender and Development. “Kapakanan, Karapatan at Kalinga para sa Health Workers: Haligi ng Serbisyong Pangkalusugan para sa Lahat.”

The celebration served as a tribute to the unwavering dedication, compassion, and invaluable contributions of all health workers in delivering quality healthcare services to the community.

The activity featured inspirational messages and lectures from distinguished speakers, discussions on the prevention of violence and harassment in the workplace, promotion of healthy workplaces and health workers’ safety, messages of support for the Magna Carta for Public Health Workers amendment, Zumba, team-building games, self-care activities, and awarding and recognition ceremonies.
