To our dear Graduates of Batch 2025,
Enhorabuena!
As your families and friends come together to celebrate with and for you on this momentous day, know that the Barangay Government of Culianan is also cheering proudly for you as you finally move to another chapter of your academic life.
The years you spent in your alma mater are surely worthwhile and meaningful years that have shaped you into the person that you are today – ready and equipped to face the uncertain future. This year’s Commencement Exercises is anchored on the theme, “Generation of Unity: Partners for the New Philippines”, which exhorts all graduates to stand hopeful amidst the call of the times; a hope founded in moving forward through what makes us one as a people – one in confronting our personal upheavals, one in rising through the many facets of social challenges, and one in rejoicing in our triumphs and successes in life.
With this in mind, education retains its ever-encompassing role as a beacon of hope for the many who are still trying, for those who are still suffering. For them and for many of us, education must be the propelling force to unite us in our common vision of a transformed and renewed society.
Value, therefore, the gift of education you earned from this esteemed institution. Instill in your hearts and minds that education must never be used as a weapon to marginalize the oppressed, but a torch to light the tomorrow we have always hoped for and dreamt of.
