From Resolution to Reality! 🌱♻️

What started as an idea and a resolution has now become a tangible product. I, together with Kap. Bebeth and Mx. PinkyJosh visited Boglake to personally check and witness the ongoing production process of our water hyacinth charcoal project,and we are proud to say that it is a success!

This initiative transforms invasive water hyacinths into a useful and sustainable charcoal product, turning what was once considered a problem into an opportunity. By harvesting and utilizing these plants, we help clear our waterways, improve water flow, protect aquatic ecosystems, and create a potential source of livelihood for our community.

This is good news not only for our people but also for our aquatic life and the environment. It is proof that with innovation, collaboration, and determination, we can create solutions that are both environmentally friendly and economically beneficial.

We look forward to further developing this project and exploring more opportunities that promote sustainability, community development, and environmental protection.

A resolution that I proudly authored and was approved by the Barangay Council is now finally turning into action. Today, together with Kap. Bebeth,Kagawad Benjie,and Mx. PinkyJosh, we personally went to Boglake to inspect the water hyacinth that will soon be used for our eco-charcoal project.

What was once considered waste can now become a sustainable source of livelihood for our community. Through proper planning, research, and teamwork, we are hopeful that this initiative will not only help in cleaning our environment but also provide an additional source of income for many families in Barangay San Roque.

This project is more than just making charcoal — it is about creating opportunities, promoting environmental responsibility, and turning simple resources into something beneficial for the community. We are truly excited for the next steps of this project and hopeful for its positive impact in the future. 💚♻️

“Tara, Basa!” 📚✨
A tutoring program of the Department of Education (DEPED) in coordination with DSWD and CSWD. With the full support of San Roque Elementary School and the Barangay Council headed by Kap. Bebeth Macrohon, this program aims to help struggling learners achieve grade-level proficiency in reading through a 20-day learning intervention program.

The program officially started last May 6 and will run until June 2. Through the dedication of teachers, tutors, and parents,we continue to create opportunities for our young learners to improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a love for learning at an early age.

Aside from helping the children, the program also provides learning sessions for parents to strengthen their knowledge and skills in guiding and supporting their children’s education at home. This initiative highlights the importance of family involvement in building a stronger foundation for every learner.

Education is truly a shared responsibility, and programs like this remind us that when the community works together, we can make a big difference in the lives of our children and families.

To all tutors(YDWs), teachers, parents, volunteers, and partner agencies!Thank you for your continuous support and commitment to our learners. Together, we are helping shape a brighter future for the children of Barangay San Roque. 💙📖✏️

We personally went to the different schools here in Barangay San Roque to listen, assess, and take note of their priority projects for the year 2027.

Education remains one of our top priorities, and through these visits, we aim to better understand the needs of our schools so we can properly raise and support their proposed projects to the concerned offices and agencies.

Small steps today can create better opportunities for our students and teachers tomorrow. ❤️

We personally conducted an on-site inspection for the HAPAG Project (Halina’t Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay) in our barangay. Together with Kap. Bebeth, PinkyJosh Feliciano, Sir Bangayan, and our dedicated Barangay staff, we assessed the area to ensure that the project will be properly implemented and will benefit our community.

Through this initiative, we aim to promote food sustainability, encourage backyard gardening, and support every household in having access to fresh and healthy produce.

Hindi lang ito proyekto,ito ay hakbang tungo sa mas matibay at masiguradong suplay ng pagkain sa ating barangay.

Today, the Barangay Council of San Roque, under the leadership of Kap. Bebeth Macrohon, continued its commitment to serve by distributing fuel coupons/vouchers to our PUJ drivers, tricycle drivers, and operators.

In light of the ongoing State of Energy Emergency, many of our transport workers are facing increasing challenges due to the continuous rise in fuel prices. Understanding their situation, the Barangay Government took action to provide assistance that will help sustain their daily operations and support their livelihoods.

This initiative reflects our recognition of the important role our drivers and operators play in the community. They are among the frontliners of public service,ensuring that commuters can travel safely, conveniently, and on time despite economic difficulties.

Through this fuel subsidy effort, we aim not only to provide immediate relief but also to show our appreciation for their hard work, resilience, and dedication. The Barangay Council remains proactive in addressing the effects of the energy crisis by implementing programs that directly benefit those in need.

As we face these challenges together, we assure everyone that the Barangay of San Roque will continue to stand with its people,especially our drivers and operators who keep our roads moving every single day.
