📚 Prioritizing the Safety of Our Children

Yesterday, Kap. Bebeth Macrohon held a Zoom meeting with the school heads of different schools in Barangay San Roque to discuss the recent shooting incident at ADZU Junior High School and, more importantly, the steps we can take to prevent similar incidents from happening in our schools and community.

The meeting was attended by SK Chairperson Hon. Danhill, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, together with Hon. Razel Ann Enriquez, Barangay Kagawad, and the school heads of our different schools.

This serves as a reminder that the safety and security of our children require constant vigilance, cooperation, and immediate preventive action. As barangay officials, we remain committed to working closely with our schools, parents, and the community to create a safer environment for every learner. 🤝❤️

🦟 DENGUE CASES ARE RISING IN ZAMBOANGA CITY — KAYA KAILANGAN NATIN NG AGAP AT PREVENTION!

Ayon sa City Health Office, umabot na sa 1,609 dengue cases as of August ang naitala sa Zamboanga City ngayong 2026 — mas mataas kumpara sa kaparehong panahon noong 2025. Nakababahala rin na 12 dengue-related deaths na ang naiulat, at higit kalahati ng mga kaso ay kabilang sa mga batang 10 years old and below.

Kaya bilang bahagi ng ating responsibilidad sa kalusugan ng ating komunidad, huwag nating hintayin na may maapektuhan pa. 🫶

Sundin natin ang 4S KONTRA DENGUE:
🟢 Search and Destroy – alisin ang mga pinamumugaran ng lamok
🔵 Self-Protection – protektahan ang sarili laban sa kagat ng lamok
🟠 Seek Early Consultation – may lagnat? magpakonsulta agad
🟣 Support Fogging/Targeted Spraying – makipagtulungan sa awtoridad kung kinakailangan
