PROJECT MONITORING COMMITTEE (PMC) CONDUCTS PROJECT INSPECTIONS 📋

Last July 16, 2026, the Project Monitoring Committee (PMC) inspected LGU projects across 6 barangays in Zamboanga City: Guiwan, Divisoria, Salaan, Pasobolong, Culianan, and Mercedes. The inspections ensures all projects follow proper standards and deliver quality public infrastructure.

Inspected Projects:
1. CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL BUILDING AT GUIWAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, GUIWAN
2. CONSTRUCTION / REHABILITATION / IMPROVEMENT OF IBT BUILDING, DIVISORIA
3. CONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION/ IMPROVEMENT OF CENTER FOR CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW AT CULIANAN
4. CONSTRUCTION OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT CULIANAN
5. CONSTRUCTION OF WOMEN’S CRISIS CENTER, CULIANAN
6. CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSING UNITS AT AZCUNA RESETTLEMENT AREA, MERCEDES
7. CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL BUILDING AT PASOBOLONG ANNEX, PASOBOLONG
8. ESTABLISHMENT OF SANITARY LANDFILL CELL NO. 4, SALAAN
9. CONCRETING OF ROAD AT SALAAN

The Project Monitoring Committee (PMC) is a special body of the City Development Council (CDC) that is tasked to monitor and evaluate infrastructure projects funded by the government in Zamboanga City.

The conduct of Local Road Inventory in Zamboanga City is currently in progress in Barangay Patalon. Aligned with DILG guidelines, this effort guarantees that data on our roads and bridges are current and complete. This is part of the national directive to regularly assess, update, and submit statistics on our road networks, ensuring that every kilometer is accounted for and well-maintained.
