Celebrating the 55th Charter Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West through meaningful service!

In support of Brigada Eskwela 2026, Rotarians turned over painting materials to Southern Support Command Elementary School in Flamingo Village, Zamboanga City.

Rotarians present during the activity were; Past Assistant Governor Gil Lim, Incoming Assistant Governor Bernie Cruz, PP Raymond Young, Rtn. Ryan Quilaton, and Rtn. Jerolf Rojas.

Special thanks to the school's teacher, a dedicated Rotaractor of the Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City West, for assisting during the turnover activity.

Together, we continue to strengthen communities through service above self.

The Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West proudly represented Rotary International District 3850 at the 37th District Conference of Sister District 3740 held in Cheongju, South Korea from May 22-23, 2026.

Represented by DGN Patrick Lee and Ann PP Beth Wee Lee, the event strengthened international Rotary fellowship and collaboration among leaders and Rotarians from Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Delegates also enjoyed cultural visits around Cheongju City, including the
Presidential Summer Rest House and RaRa Strawberry Farm.

A meaningful gathering that continues to foster friendship, service, and global understanding through Rotary!

United for Good | DISCON 2026 🌟

The Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West proudly joined fellow Rotarians at the Rotary International District 3850 Conference held on May 6–9, 2026 in Roxas City, Capiz.

Celebrating the theme “United for Good,” the event highlighted fellowship, leadership, and service across Western Visayas and Western Mindanao. RCZC West actively participated in sessions, activities, and fellowship events that strengthened our commitment to “Service Above Self.”

A highlight of the conference was RCZC West being named Best Club, while our Club President received the Best President Award, recognizing outstanding leadership and service.

From meaningful discussions to memorable fellowship nights, DISCON 2026 reaffirmed that Rotary thrives when people come together with purpose and compassion.

Inspired and re-energized, RCZC West looks forward to DISCON 2027 in Bacolod City—ready to continue creating hope and transforming lives.

The Interact Club of Zamboanga City West, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West and under District 3850, will be conducting a community outreach project entitled “Project Ano, Tara? TARA: Tulong at Alaga para sa Ruta at Arangkada ng mga Tsuper” on April 26, 2026, at Barangay Mercedes Covered Court, Zamboanga City.

This initiative aims to provide support and assistance to jeepney drivers in Barangay Mercedes, recognizing their vital role in the community and helping improve their well-being and daily livelihood.
