Masarap na naman ang pagsasalo-salo ngayong araw sa Walang Gutom Kitchen โ€“ Zamboanga! Para sa ating mga kababayan, may inihandang pagkain mula umaga hanggang tanghali na siguradong makakadagdag ng lakas at sigla sa araw. โœจ

Unang handog ngayong umaga ang Fried Egg Sandwich served with Baked Macaroniโ€”isang masarap at nakakabusog na almusal na swak para simulan ang araw.

Para naman sa tanghalian, pagsasamahin ang Steamed Rice, Adobo Chicken with Potatoes, at Egg Drop Soup with Veggies, na may kasamang Watermelon bilang prutas.

Sa bawat araw na tayo ay nagsasalo, mas nagiging makabuluhan ang simpleng pagkain kapag may kasamang malasakit at pagtutulungan. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng patuloy na nakikiisa at nakikikain kasama natin. ๐Ÿ’š

STRENGTHENING FAMILIES THROUGH EMPOWERED PARENTING

DSWD Field Office IXโ€“Zamboanga welcomed DSWD Assistant Secretary for Protective Programs Operations Group Ada Colico, who showed her support for the Regional Training of Trainers for Parent Effectiveness Service (PES) Program Facilitators held at the Winn Hotel in Zamboanga City.

The intensive capacity-building initiative focuses on enhancing the knowledge, skills, and facilitation competencies of trainers to equip parents and parent-substitutes with positive parenting and effective child-rearing tools.This strategic effort forms part of the DSWDโ€™s continuing commitment to reinforce family and community support systems across the region, particularly in building resilience and promoting stronger family relationships following the recent tragic shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

May bagong handog na naman ang Walang Gutom Kitchen โ€“ Zamboanga para sa ating mga kababayan ngayong araw. Mula almusal hanggang tanghalian, sama-sama nating gawing mas masaya ang araw sa pamamagitan ng isang mainit at masustansyang pagkain.

Para sa breakfast, ihahain ang Steamed Rice served with Omelette and Watermelon, isang simple ngunit nakakabusog na pares para sa pagsisimula ng araw. ๐Ÿ‰

Sa lunch, masarap na pagsasalo-salo ang naghihintay sa Steamed Rice, Clear Broth Soup, Pininyahang Manok, at Ginisang Sayote, na may Apple bilang prutas.

LOOK: The Department of Social Welfare and Developmentโ€“Field Office IX (DSWD FO IX) convened today, September 3, 2026, for its monthly Naseehat, held every first thursday of the month.

Members of the Muslim community within DSWD FO IX gathered at the Conference Room to attend a meaningful lecture delivered by distinguished guest speaker Sheikh Salmann Sakili. During his talk, Sheikh Sakili expounded on the significance of Riba, particularly the importance of avoiding backbiting and other harmful practices that can affect relationships and the community.

Furthermore, following the Naseehat, members of the DSWD FO IX Muslim community gathered together for a fellowship meal, fostering camaraderie, unity, and brotherhood among colleagues.

Two simple words that hold profound meaning. For Alyashrif G. Pailan, a 1st year college student at Claret College of Basilan, these words encapsulate his sacrifices, dreams, perseverance, and hope for a better future.

Pailan comes from a family that has very little in life. Economically challenged as they are, his mother, who earns roughly 2,500 pesos a month from doing laundry services, strives hard to send Alyashrif to college.

Dayang Guevarra. Jerry Abiera, and FK Choi, as focal persons for the Special Committee on LGBTQIA+ Affairs, brainstormed a series of activities that would promote equality and foster an inclusive environment in the DSWD Field Office IX, yesterday.

The major plan is to create a support group to cater and address pressing issues involving the LGBTQIA+ community.

Solo parent ang nanay ni Mekyla G. Ebe mula sa Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Kaya naman nagsusumikap siyang makapagtapos ng pag-aaral upang sa darating na panahon, siya naman ang tutulong sa kanyang magulang at kapatid.

Consistent honor student at active sa eskwela at extra-curricular activities si Mekyla. Mula sa pagtitinda ng munchkins, pinasok din ni Mekyla ang mundo ng pageantry upang may pandagdag sa gastusin sa eskwela.

Ngayong siya ay nasa kolehiyo na, dalangin niya na sana ay makapasok siya sa ๐‘ป๐’†๐’“๐’•๐’Š๐’‚๐’“๐’š ๐‘ฌ๐’…๐’–๐’„๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘บ๐’–๐’ƒ๐’”๐’Š๐’…๐’š (๐‘ป๐‘ฌ๐‘บ) ng Commission on Higher Education. Ito rin ang kasalukuyang tinatrabaho ng 4Ps upang mai-refer siya at ang iba pang batang 4Ps sa programa ng CHED.
