🚨 DENGUE ALERT | BARANGAY ZAMBOWOOD 🚨

⚠️ 18 CONFIRMED DENGUE CASES HAVE ALREADY BEEN RECORDED IN BARANGAY ZAMBOWOOD.

This increasing number of cases is a serious concern. We urge every resident, family, and community member to take IMMEDIATE ACTION to prevent further spread of dengue.

🦟 REMEMBER THE 4S STRATEGY AGAINST DENGUE:

🟢 SEARCH – Search for and destroy mosquito breeding sites. Remove stagnant water from containers, tires, cans, and other areas where mosquitoes may breed.

🟢 SECURE – Protect yourself by wearing long sleeves, using mosquito repellents, and sleeping under mosquito nets when needed.

🟢 SEEK – Seek early medical consultation if you experience symptoms such as high fever, headache, body pain, rashes, nausea, or vomiting.

🟢 SUPPORT – Support fogging or spraying activities only in hotspot areas when recommended by health authorities.

AUGUST 07,2026| KALUSUGAN ANG PRAYORIDAD! NAKIISA SI KAGAWAD JANN-JANN CALMA, VICE CHAIRPERSON ON HEALTH, SA PORMAL NA PAGLULUNSAD NG PROGRAMANG “PUROKALUSUGAN” NG CITY HEALTH OFFICE AT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SA LUNGSOD NG ZAMBOANGA NA DINAOS SA ZONE 7, BARANGAY ZAMBOWOOD.

Bilang pagpapakita ng patuloy na suporta sa mga programang pangkalusugan, nakiisa si Vice Chairperson on Health Kagawad Jann-Jann Calma sa pormal na kick-off ng programang PuroKalusugan, isang inisyatibang pinangungunahan ng City Health Office at Department of Health (DOH) upang higit pang mapalakas ang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa antas ng komunidad.

Dumalo rin sa programa si Punong Barangay Kap. Richard Pajarito, kasama ang iba pang mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Barangay ng Zambowood. Nakiisa rin ang mga kinatawan ng City Health Office, Department of Health, at PS 5 Divisoria upang ipakita ang kanilang suporta sa nasabing programa.

Kasama rin sa aktibidad ang masipag na Barangay Midwife na si Madam Jennifer Malicay Diaz, katuwang ang mga Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) at Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), na patuloy na nagsisilbing katuwang sa paghahatid ng dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan sa bawat pamilya sa barangay.

Sa pamamagitan ng PuroKalusugan, patuloy na pinagtitibay ang pagtutulungan ng lokal na pamahalaan at mga ahensyang pangkalusugan upang makabuo ng mas malusog, ligtas, at matatag na komunidad.

Health Services, Mas Ilalapit sa Mamamayan; Initial Planning para sa “Purok Pangkalusugan” Program Isinagawa

July 17, 2026 | Barangay Zambowood — Patuloy na pinalalakas ng Barangay Zambowood ang mga programa sa kalusugan sa pamamagitan ng isang initial planning meeting para sa nalalapit na paglulunsad ng “Purok Pangkalusugan” Program.

Pinangunahan ito ng Vice-Chairperson on Health, Kagawad Jann Jann Calma, kasama ang ating masipag na Barangay Midwife Ma’am Jennifer Malicay Diaz at District Nurse Miss Ann, upang pagplanuhan ang mas epektibong paghahatid ng mga serbisyong pangkalusugan sa bawat purok ng barangay.

Ang Purok Pangkalusugan ay isang community-based health initiative na naglalayong ilapit ang basic health services, health education, at preventive healthcare programs sa bawat purok ng Barangay Zambowood. Layunin nitong matiyak na mas maraming residente ang mabibigyan ng agarang access sa mga serbisyong pangkalusugan at impormasyon na makatutulong sa pagpapanatili ng isang malusog na komunidad.

Ayon kay Kagawad Jann Jann Calma, mahalagang mailapit ang mga programa ng barangay sa bawat mamamayan upang mas maging mabilis, episyente, at inclusive ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong pangkalusugan.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng Barangay Health Workers, Health Center personnel, at ng buong Barangay Council, inaasahang magiging matagumpay ang implementasyon ng Purok Pangkalusugan, bilang isa pang hakbang tungo sa isang mas malusog, mas ligtas, at mas matatag na Barangay Zambowood.
