A successful PWD Incentives Payout for our beloved Canelar PWDs was held yesterday, August 27, 2026, at Sta. Maria Covered Court.

A heartfelt thanks to Kagawad Ann Manuel, Canelar PWD Focal Person, who personally assisted our PWD beneficiaries during the on-site validation and payout, ensuring that the process was smooth, orderly, and convenient for everyone.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Ma'am Yolly Virgo Guevara, President of Canelar PWD, for her invaluable assistance and support from validation to payout.😇

A big thank you to the Barangay Canelar Council, headed by Kap Godofredo Sabordo Sr. ., for its unwavering support and commitment to our PWD community. 💙

As part of our continued support, the Barangay also provided transportation/service to assist our PWD beneficiaries in getting to the venue, ensuring that those who needed assistance could safely and conveniently attend the payout.
We are likewise grateful to the Council for providing chairs for our PWDs to use during the activity, making the venue more comfortable and accessible for our beneficiaries.❤️

𝙶𝚞𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚊 𝙺𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚊 𝙳𝚎𝚗𝚐𝚞𝚎 update!!

This morning, the committee on health and sanitation, chaired by Hon. Kagawad Carlo Billy Fidel with the assigned Sanitation Inspector I Jose Carlo Rubio , the Barangay Health Workers, and with the coordination of the Purok leaders Carreon and Lukas Lukas Oxamadin , with kagawad Ramon Jacinto conducted FUMIGATION in Purok 6 Sawali Drive, Limon Drive, and Purok 11-A BAT Compound of Barangay Canelar in response to the reported dengue outbreak in the community as part of the GUERRA KONTRA DENGUE program.

The Barangay Council would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the City Health Office, led by Sanitation Inspector III Valmonte for this prompt action.

Let us continue to protect and prevent dengue by maintaining a clean and safe environment!!!

GUERRA CONTRA DENGUE IN CANELAR| The City Health Office closely collaborates with the barangays in the implementation of anti-dengue initiatives amid the dengue epidemic declaration.

Photo shows barangay officials and volunteers, together with the designated CHO sanitary inspector conducting search and destroy operations intended to stop dengue-carrying mosquitoes from breeding.

CHO sanitary inspectors likewise stepped up its information campaign on the 5S strategy vs dengue - search andc destroy, self protection, seek early consultation, support fogging/ misting, and sustain hydration.

HEALTH AND SANITATION UPDATES!

Continuing the campaign for 𝙂𝙄𝙔𝙀𝙍𝘼 𝙆𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼 𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙐𝙀 and the 𝙋𝙐𝙍𝙊𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙣 Program,. The Committee on Health and Sanitation headed by the Committee Chair Hon. Kagawad Carlo Billy Fidel conducted the 𝙆𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙉 𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙉𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙏𝙔 at P11-A BAT COMPOUND, collaborated with Barangay Health Workers, deputies, and maintenance, with special participation from 4Ps parents beneficiaries.

𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐏𝐎𝐂 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒!

The Committee on Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council ( BADAC) and Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) spearheaded by Hon. Kagawad Allan Toti Bernales and the Barangay Canelar Council headed by Hon. Kap Godofredo Sabordo Sr. and the Barangay Staff organized the BADAC and BPOC symposium.

With heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Police Chief Master Sergeant Millette R Ansaldo Whiz Kevz and Police Staff Sergeant Majen S Agraviador Majen Siason ,from Zcpo PSeleven thank you for sharing your inspirational and empowering knowledge with us.

We would also like to thank Congresswoman Kat Chua with her Staff for the simple blessing to the participants.

For the Purok officials, Tanods, Senior Citizen, Special sector, and Residents who participated and contributed to the activity. Thank you for making this activity possible.

AVISO PUBLICO| The public is advised about the conduct of KALASAG-ZC Inter-Agency Territorial Defense Operations Exercise (IATDO-E) on THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2026 starting at 7am to 12noon at the Zamboanga Economic Zone and Freeport Authority in San Ramon, barangay Talisayan.

There will be three (3) scenarios that will take place at the waters off the Ecozone seaport, and in some buildings inside the Ecozone complex. The exercise involves live firing and explosives drills.

The exercise, themed “One City, One Mission, One Purpose” aims to strengthen inter-agency coordination and government response for territorial defense, disasters and calamities and crisis management, the advisory stated.

This is purely a simulation exercise and NOT an actual combat operation. The public is advised to remain calm and proceed with normal daily activities.
