The youth's spirit and hope burned bright as the community gathered last August 22, 2026, for the successful kickoff of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 with the theme "Pag-asa, Pagkakaisa, at Pasulong sa Bagong Yugto." Held in celebration of youth empowerment, it was an impactful day filled with learning, inspiration, and unity aimed at building a brighter future for everyone.

The program officially commenced with an uplifting opening address by Hon. Bon Andre S. Casimiro, followed by an inspiring message and call to action from our Punong Barangay, Hon. Angelica G. Inot. Hon. Angela F. Atilano then introduced the representative from TESDA Ms. Ian Buenaventura, who presented valuable skills training and livelihood opportunities tailored for the youth. The momentum continued as SK Member Hon. Pijay Pederido introduced the team from Police Station 5 Divisoria for the symposium on "Empowering the Youth to Stand Against Drugs and Terrorism for a Safer Tomorrow," providing vital guidance on community safety. Expressing full backing for these initiatives, Hon. Nestor E. Casimiro delivered a heartfelt message of support. To wrap up the educational sessions, Hon. Lovely Kaye Andico introduced Mr. Yazdi Belgira, who led a crucial and engaging discussion on health advocacy and HIV awareness.
