𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍 𝐑.𝐀. 𝟏𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟎 & 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐂-𝐂𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐌 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐒

The Division Federation Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG) of Zamboanga City proudly participated in the 2-Day Capacity Building on R.A. 11930 and Recognizing & Responding to OSAEC-CSAEM Cases held on June 2–3, 2026, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) of Zamboanga City for spearheading this meaningful advocacy initiative. We also convey our sincere appreciation to the esteemed resource speakers and facilitators for sharing their expertise and insights, inspiring all of us as young leaders to become active advocates in safeguarding the welfare, rights, and well-being of every child.

Together with fellow youth organizations such as the SK, PYAP, 4-H Club, and young advocates, the activity served as a platform to strengthen awareness, knowledge, and action in safeguarding children from Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM).

The DFSSLG recognizes its role in promoting safe spaces, responsible digital citizenship, and child protection. Through initiatives like this, we are empowered and we will continue to empower the people to become advocates for the betterment of our communities.

Together, the 𝘋𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘚𝘓𝘎 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘡𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘋𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 is helping to make our schools prepared for another blast of a school year! 🏫📚

From sweeping hallways and cleaning classrooms to lending helping hands wherever needed, the SSLG of the Zamboanga City Division, along with their peers, parents, teachers, stakeholders, and community members, continue to show what bayanihan truly look like. 🤝🧹

Today marks the beginning of Brigada Eskwela 2026! The schools, communities, stakeholders, parents, teachers, students, and student-leaders of the Zamboanga City Division come together in the true spirit of bayanihan. ✨

With the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” we unite our efforts to prepare our schools for another meaningful year of learning. Through collective action, collaboration, and volunteerism, we create learning environments that are clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for every learner. ♻️🧹

The Supreme Learner Government (SSLG) of the Zamboanga City Division proudly stands alongside our schools and communities in this mission, proving that when we work together, we can achieve more for education and for the future of every Zamboangueño learner. Together, we can! ❤️🤝

The Division Federation Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG) of Zamboanga City extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Community Association of Youth in Action (CAYA) for inviting us to be part of Youth SPACE (Strengthening Participation and Awareness through Comprehensive Education): Stress First Aid. 🧠✨

This meaningful initiative provided the Zamboanga City DFSSLG Officers with valuable knowledge and practical strategies in understanding stress, promoting self-awareness, and prioritizing mental well-being. Through discussions and interactive activities, they were empowered to better navigate the challenges they encounter across different aspects of their lives.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the LEaP! Programme of Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Ateneo Learning and Teaching Excellence Center (AdZU-ALTEC) and UNICEF Philippines for co-facilitating this insightful session. 🤝

We are honored to have joined fellow youth leaders in this advocacy and commend CAYA, together with its partners, for creating safe and educational spaces that promote mental health awareness among the youth.

Thank you for allowing us to learn, grow, and be part of this impactful initiative. Together, let us continue building a generation that values mental wellness, resilience, and compassion. 🫂❤️

Yesterday, May 28, 2026, at the SDO New Building, Baliwasan Chico, the DFSSLG Executive Officers gathered alongside the Learner Formation Core Group and Child Protection Coordinators from both the Elementary and Secondary levels for a meaningful discussion regarding the realities many students and children in general face today, particularly how many choose to express their struggles in different ways rather than formally seeking help or taking action. 💬🫂

In line with this, Mr. Ramon Salomon, Associate Dean of ZPPSU and an IT expert, introduced a proposal for a Child Protection Reporting and Decision System, an initiative aimed at making reporting incidents more comfortable and accessible for learners, while also helping CPCs carry out their responsibilities in a faster, smoother, and more efficient manner. 💻📱🤝

By the afternoon, the DFSSLG, together with Ms. Belsenhower Macas, Ms. CJ Navaja, and the Learner Formation Core Group, proceeded with discussions and preparations for the upcoming events and initiatives for the Zamboanga City Division. ✨

A productive and insightful day dedicated to strengthening learner welfare, protection, and engagement. ❤️
