π§π’πππ¬: In adherence to the Philippine Coast Guard's (PCG) Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement (iCARE) campaign, personnel of the Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao (CGDSWM) joined Claret School of Zamboanga City in a SearchβandβDestroy activity targeting mosquito breeding sites by putting salt to help curb the spread of dengue surrounding its campus.
The initiative was spearheaded by Claret School through the leadership of Health Services Coordinator, Claire DemoniβEge, RN, PgDHSM, MAN, and Claret School ParentβTeacher Association (CSPA) President, Bernardo C Buenaventura, together with dedicated school staff and volunteers.
The activity underscored the significance of collaborative efforts of the PCG and the community, maximizing public safety through a shared commitment to health protection and environmental stewardship.
