Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream, regardless of the circumstances they face. Today, we celebrate a meaningful milestone as 13 dependents of women victim-survivors sheltered at Home for Women Region IX have been successfully enrolled in school, ensuring that their right to education is upheld and protected.
Many of these children have experienced instability and challenges at a young age, yet their stories do not end with adversity. Through the collective efforts of social workers, schools, and dedicated house parents, doors to education have been opened, giving them a chance to build a better future.
At Home for Women Region IX, we firmly believe that a child's situation should never become a barrier to learning. Education is more than attending classesโit is a pathway to hope, empowerment, healing, and opportunity. By ensuring that these children continue their schooling, we are helping them reclaim a sense of normalcy, nurture their potential, and dream beyond their present circumstances.
This achievement reflects our commitment to fulfilling the rights of every child and ensuring that no child is left behind. As these young learners begin a new academic journey, we stand with them, encouraging them to persevere, discover their strengths, and believe in the possibilities that lie ahead.
Because every child deserves not only protection and care, but also the chance to learn, thrive, and succeed.
