🩺 ENSURING SAFETY: MEDS-SWM & NSSU-SWM DEPLOYED FOR PROFICIENCY FIRING EXERCISE
To uphold maximum personnel safety and operational preparedness, the Coast Guard Medical Station – Southwestern Mindanao (MEDS-SWM) and the Coast Guard Nursing Service Sub Unit – Southwestern Mindanao (NSSU-SWM) provided medical standby support during the Coast Guard Station Zamboanga Proficiency Firing on 26 August 2026 at the ZAMBOECOZONE Firing Range, Sitio San Ramon, Brgy. Talisayan, Zamboanga City.
Equipped for rapid emergency intervention, the personnel provided continuous medical alertness throughout the live-fire training exercise.
Through this joint effort, MEDS-SWM and NSSU-SWM continue to safeguard the health and well-being of Coast Guard personnel during mission-critical training activities.
