Google Translate has just rolled out support for 110 new languages, and among them are languages from the Philippines such as Waray, Bikol, Hiligaynon, Pangasinan, and Kapampangan!

However, it must be noted that the translations may not be fully accurate due to the limitations of its software.

Sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 109, s. 1936, idineklara ang linggo ng 24-30 ng Nobyembre ng bawat taon bilang "National Book Week". At sa pamumuno ng Philippine Librarians Association Inc., National Library of the Philippines (NLP) at National Commission for Culture and the Arts - National Committee on Libraries and Information Sevices (NCCA-NCLIS), ang magiging tema ng selebrasyon ngayong taon ay "𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮.𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻.𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀".

Ang napiling tema ay nagpapakita ng halaga ng mga aklat at pagbabasa sa ikabubuti ng bayan at ng ating kinabukasan. Sa pamamagitan ng mga babasahin lalo na ang mga lokal na publikasyon ay mas makikilala ng bawat isa ang kanilang pagiging Pilipino at kung papaano pa natin huhubugin ang ating mga sarili para sa bukas ng ating mahal na bayan.

Ang linggo ng selebrasyon ay magpapakita ng malawakang halaga ng mga babasahin sa buhay ng bawat Pilipino sa tulong ng mga aktibong tagapaglathala, manunulat,silid aklatan at mga laybraryan.

Tutukan ang mga anunsyo tungkol sa mga aktibidad at patimpalak kaugnay sa selebrasyon ng National Book Week. Sundan ang National Book Week Facebook page para sa mga update.
