In support of the government's program to preserve barangay cleanliness and safeguard the environment for future generations, the College of Industrial Technology spearheaded a successful coastal clean-up drive at Palnab Del Sur on April 7, 2024. It was attended by 33 faculty, students, and 63 barangay volunteers. This activity was initiated to provide an opportunity for community members to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts. This can exemplify a united community collaborating towards a shared objective.

The Catanduanes State University never failed in extending its hands in merging school
and community by conducting extension services. In a spectacular event held on the 24th of
February 2024, CatSU-College of Industrial Technology conducted an Extension Service
through the initiative of Ms. Annabel Joy Aldea as the proponent. The extension service was
provided to Care Phils Women Core Group at Brgy. Buyo, Virac, Catanduanes. The Abaca
By-Products Skills Training aims to develop skills and promote livelihood to the
recipients/participants in Catanduanes by creating crafts and Abaca products.
