The resolution was presented by Ms. Sheira Mae C. Guzman, Executive Assistant II of the Municipality of Sinait, to 2LT Johnray Mark C. Morales (INF) PA, Platoon Leader of Charlie Company, on September 14, 2026, at Barangay Macabiag, Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

The resolution underscores the LGU of Sinaitโ€™s commitment to promoting public awareness and understanding of the significance of the 2016 Arbitral Award, particularly among present and future generations. Mayugba, D.D., Bishop of Laoag, conducted a pastoral visit to the Headquarters of the 56th Infantry (TATAG) Battalion and 500th Combat Engineer Battalion at Brgy. Visaya, Vintar, Ilocos Norte.

Bishop Mayugba was received by Major Neckson C. Licud (INF) PA, Executive Officer of the 56th Infantry (TATAG) Battalion, together with the personnel of 56IB and 500CEB. LTC Sherylyn R. Consulta CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 500th Combat Engineer Battalion, also attended the Holy Mass and joined the personnel during the activity. The visit provided an opportunity for the Bishop to engage with the troops and extend pastoral guidance, prayers, and encouragement.

The pastoral visit provided spiritual guidance and contributed to the morale and well-being of the personnel as they continue to fulfill their duties and responsibilities in support of the Philippine Armyโ€™s mission. It also fostered unity and strengthened the partnership between the Church and the military in promoting faith, service, and solidarity in support of the personnel and the communities they serve.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of maritime and archipelagic awareness, patriotism, and the protection of the countryโ€™s maritime domain in support of External Defense Operations and national security.

Following the ceremony, LTC Sumangil awarded Letters of Commendation to reservists in recognition of their valuable service and dedication during the Joint Task Force Kaugnay Rehearsal. Personnel were present throughout the two-day activity to guide aspirants and assist facilitators, ensuring a smooth and organized testing environment for everyone involved.

The PMAEE serves as the primary screening process for young Filipinos seeking admission to the Philippine Military Academy and aspiring to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
