Joining us for this special milestone were Municipal Mayor Hon. Dita G. Abrenica, Vice Mayor Hon. Cheryll Z. Tan, MLGOO Braulio G. Yaranon, LYDO Engr. Ronnie V. Cacapit, Student Leaders and their Advisers from various schools, LYO Ms. Alyssa Karen Mina, and Former Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica.

Kicking off our activities was the 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, where 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 from 10 public and private schools across Villasis took part. After careful deliberation and nominations, here are our newly proclaimed officers:

📢 CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS | YOUTH MOBILIZATION FOR DISASTER RESPONSE

In the face of adversity, our shared aspirations for a resilient and inclusive Philippines call us to come together and take action.

In view of the postponement of the commemoration of the 2026 International Youth Day, National Youth Day, and Linggo ng Kabataan and National Youth Commission Anniversary activities scheduled for August 12, 2026, the National Youth Commission (NYC) is calling on young people to channel their energy, compassion, and spirit of volunteerism toward relief operations for communities affected by the recent calamities.

Through the National Youth Volunteer Program (NYVP) and the Youth Organizations’ Registration Program (YORP), the NYC, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), will mobilize youth volunteers to support relief and community response operations.

Due to the prevailing inclement weather, face-to-face classes in ALL LEVELS (Public and Private) in the Municipality of Villasis, Pangasinan are SUSPENDED tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Meanwhile, work in all government offices shall resume as scheduled.

Schools are advised to shift to the appropriate alternative learning modality.
