A successful anti-rabies vaccination drive was conducted at Brgy. Lipay to help protect our beloved pets and community from rabies. Thank you to all pet owners who participated and supported this important activity.

𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀

𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 7-8, 2026 - A two-day anti-rabies vaccination drive was successfully conducted in Barangay San Nicolas, Villasis, Pangasinan, aimed at protecting both residents and their pets from rabies. The activity was led by the Municipal Agriculture Office in coordination with the Barangay Captain and Councils of San Nicolas, providing free vaccinations to dogs and cats within the community.

Other barangays are also scheduled for upcoming vaccination drives as part of the municipality’s continuous effort to strengthen rabies prevention efforts.

March 25-26, 2026- The Municipal Agriculture Ofdice successfully conducted an Anti-Rabies Vaccination drive in Brgy. San Blas and Brgy. Lomboy as part of the Rabies Awareness Month campaign. Pet owners actively participated by bringing their dogs and cats for free vaccination, promoting responsible pet ownership and community safety.

The initiative aims to protect both animals and residents from rabies, a preventable but deadly disease. Other barangays are scheduled for vaccination in the coming days to ensure wider coverage across the municipality.

𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛

𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 17-18, 2026 - Brgy. Caramutan recently benefited from a two-day Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive conducted by the Municipal Agriculture Office in line with Rabies Awareness initiatives. The activity aimed to protect pets and the community from the threat of rabies through free vaccination services.

Pet owners actively participated in the campaign, bringing their dogs and cats for vaccination. The team ensured proper handling and administration of vaccines while also educating residents on responsible pet ownership and the importance of regular vaccination.

Other barangays will be scheduled soon as part of the continuous effort to promote public health and animal welfare.

March 12 - The Provincial Agriculture Office together with Municipal Agriculture Office Villasis successfully conducted an Orientation on the Corporate Farming Program with the members of Lipay Barraca Development of Farmers Association held at Barraca, Villasis, Pangasinan

The activity aimed to orient the farmers about the program’s guidelines, opportunities, and benefits under the Corporate Farming initiative. Farmers actively participated in the discussion, showing their commitment to strengthen cooperation and improve rice production in their community.

The Municipal Agriculture Office continues to support and guide farmers toward sustainable and productive farming. 🌾👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵

March 10-11, 2026 - In line with the observance of Rabies Awareness Month, a successful two-day Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination activity was conducted in Barangay Piaz to help protect the community from rabies and promote responsible pet ownership.

The Municipal Agriculture Office expressed their appreciation to the residents of Barangay Piaz for their cooperation and support during the activity.

Meanwhile, other barangays in the municipality will also be scheduled for Anti-Rabies Vaccination in the coming days as part of the continuing campaign for Rabies Awareness Month.

March 7, 2026 - The activity aimed to provide the students with practical exposure to the daily operations and services of the office.

During their immersion, the students actively assisted in various office tasks and observed the different programs and activities being implemented for the benefit of local farmers. They also learned about agricultural services such as crop monitoring, farmers’ assistance, and basic office documentation.

The students demonstrated enthusiasm and eagerness to learn throughout their stay. Their willingness to ask questions and participate in assigned tasks showed their strong interest in gaining new knowledge and experiences related to agriculture and public service.

The office conducted the distribution of Inorganic Fertilizer to farmers as part of its support for the 𝘏𝘺𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 for dry season.

The beneficiaries were farmers who received 𝙝𝙮𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙙 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙧, 2025 where the fertilizer serves as an essential component of the seeds.

The distribution was carried out over 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 (March 5-6, 2026), ensuring that the fertilizers were properly distributed to all qualified farmers.

𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩, 2026-work immersion students from Feliz Academy Inc. has made a positive impression during a 10-working-day immersion program, demonstrating strong work ethics, adaptability, and an eagerness to accept new learning experiences.

Throughout the immersion period, the student consistently showed dedication to assigned tasks and a proactive attitude in the workplace.

The 10-day work immersion program aims to expose students to real-world work settings, helping them develop practical skills, discipline, and confidence. The positive performance of the Feliz Academy students highlights the importance of openness to learning and adaptability in achieving success during such programs.

As the immersion period concludes, the student leaves with valuable experience, enhanced skills, and a deeper understanding of professional responsibilities—an encouraging example for future work immersion participants.

𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

As part of the corporate farming program, the office conducted a field inspection of rice lands in Lomboy and Barraca to evaluate crop conditions ahead of the scheduled harvest in March.

The visit aimed to check whether the rice crops nearing maturity are affected by pests or plant diseases that could impact yield and overall production.

Findings from the inspection showed that most rice areas are generally in good condition and progressing well toward harvest. Farmers participating in the corporate farming initiative were advised to continue close monitoring, especially during the final growth stage, and to immediately coordinate with the office if pest or disease symptoms are observed.

𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖 2026: 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Farmers Day 2026 was successfully celebrated with a day filled with fun, learning, and appreciation for the local farming community. The event featured exciting activities such as the "𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘢 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵" and the "𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘱 𝘯𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯" competition, showcasing the creativity, skills, and talents of local farmers and participants.

Adding to the excitement were raffle draws, which brought joy and surprises to many attendees. Prizes were given as a token of appreciation for the farmers’ hard work and dedication to agriculture.

The celebration also highlighted learning opportunities through a seminar conducted by Pigrolac, focusing on proper swine management and production. The seminar provided valuable knowledge to hog raisers, aiming to improve productivity, animal health, and sustainable farming practices.

Farmers Day 2026 served as a meaningful celebration honoring farmers while promoting agricultural innovation and community unity. 🌾🐖
