𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Eskwela De Los Mataderos successfully conducted its Training Induction Program for three batches this December, marking another milestone in its commitment to empowering scholars with quality training and education. The programs were held on December 9, 2024 for Batch 44, December 12, 2024 for Batch 45, and December 23, 2024 for Batch 46.

The events featured inspiring messages and valuable insights from esteemed guest speakers, including Ms. Zita Maribeth Taruna for Batch 44, Ms. Apple Salvador for Batch 45, and a joint session led by Mr. Daryll Reyson Valledor and Mr. Daryl Raras for Batch 46, our distinguished representative from TESDA. Mrs. Ronilda Aninag from PESO, and Mr. Desiderius Martinez, our lecturer, who also shared their expertise and encouragement, motivating scholars to excel in their training journey.

This series of programs would not have been possible without the unwavering support of Hon. Mayor Jose "Bonito" C. Singson, Jr. and Hon. Vice Mayor Randy V. Singson, whose dedication to educational advancement continues to open doors for aspiring individuals.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Training on Cake Making

Empowering through skills and sweetness! 🍰✨

In celebration of Children's Month, Alternative Learning System learners took part in a transformative Cake Making Training held from November 21 to November 30, 2024. This enriching initiative was made possible through the efforts of Hon. Mayor Jose "Bonito" C. Singson, Jr. and Hon. Vice Mayor Randy V. Singson, Ms. Haidee Pestilos of SYGLAT Training and Development Center, in collaboration with Vigan Skills Training Institute led by Mrs. Ronilda A. Aninag, and expertly facilitated by trainer Mrs. Mary Rose K. Beltran.

During the training, participants mastered the art of crafting delightful confections such as Yema Chiffon Cake, Flavored Chiffon Cake with Swiss Buttercream, Red Velvet Cupcakes, Carrot Cupcakes, Banana Cupcakes, Black Forest Cake, Custard Cake, and Moist Chocolate Cupcakes designed with festive Christmas themes.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Training on Massage

From October 14 to 18, 21 to 22, and 28 to 30, 2024, Massage Therapy Training was led by Syglat Training and Development Center, together with Ms. Verna Mandal and Mr. Jhon Dexter Julaton. Participants gained hands-on experience in essential techniques, including chair massage, banana leaf scanning, ventosa, foot massage, and full body massage.

As part of their training, they also visited various offices in LGU-Vigan to apply their skills in real-world setting.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Training on Housekeeping NC II

From October 3 to 16, 2024, a 12-day training on Housekeeping NC II was held at the Vigan Conservation Complex, by Ms. Haidee G. Pestilos of Syglat Training and Development Center and Mr. Alden Baldos. Trainees mastered key skills such as shoe polishing, unpacking and packing of clients' baggage, cleaning comfort rooms, and both Norwegian and traditional bed making.

A special thank you to Ms. Camille Elizabeth S. Elefante of Safari Hotel and Villas for allowing our trainees to practice traditional bed making in a real hotel setting, enriching their learning experience.
