VICTORIAS CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL โ€” The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Victorias City, in partnership with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), successfully conducted the Entrepreneurship Seminar and Summer Livelihood Workshop 2026: Macramรฉ Workshop on June 3, 2026, at the Victorias Cafรฉ and Pastry Shop.

The activity gathered 40 Victoriasanon youth from different barangays across the city, providing them with opportunities to develop entrepreneurial knowledge and acquire practical livelihood skills.

The program was formally hosted by SK Federation Vice President Hon. Brylin Dorias, who guided the participants throughout the activity and ensured the smooth flow of the program.

The activity was graced by Hon. Jappy Cuaycong, whose presence highlighted the importance of investing in youth development and capacity-building initiatives.

As part of the seminar component, Sir Paolo Valladarez, JD, MBA, and Ms. Marla Hautea served as speakers, discussing key concepts and opportunities in entrepreneurship, encouraging participants to cultivate innovation, leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Meanwhile, Ms. Venus Segura served as the resource speaker for the Macramรฉ Workshop, leading participants through both the theoretical and practical aspects of macramรฉ-making. The hands-on session enabled participants to learn a creative skill with potential livelihood applications.

The activity was facilitated by the SK Federation Staff, headed by SK Federation President Trisha Mae Majan, in collaboration with the LEDIPO Victorias Staff, spearheaded by Sir Paolo Valladarez.

The successful conduct of the program reflects the continued commitment of the SK Federation of Victorias City and LEDIPO to provide meaningful learning opportunities that promote youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills development among young Victoriasanons.

Through initiatives such as this, the city continues to invest in programs that equip the youth with practical competencies and knowledge that can contribute to their personal growth and future economic participation.

A total of 40 youth participants from various barangays across Victorias City attended the workshop, where they were provided with both theoretical discussions and hands-on training focused on entrepreneurship and fruit carving.

Serving as key speakers for the Entrepreneurship Seminar were ๐’๐ข๐ซ ๐๐š๐จ๐ฅ๐จ ๐•. ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ณ, ๐‰๐ƒ, ๐Œ๐๐€ and ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐š ๐‡๐ฎ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐š, who shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, livelihood opportunities, and business development for the youth.

Meanwhile, ๐’๐ข๐ซ ๐‘๐ข๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐๐š๐œ๐ญ๐จ served as the resource speaker for the Fruit Carving Workshop, guiding participants through practical demonstrations and skill application exercises.

The activity was facilitated by the ๐’๐Š ๐…๐ž๐๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ญ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ headed by SKF President ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ฃ๐š๐ง together with the ๐‹๐„๐ƒ๐ˆ๐๐Ž ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฌ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž headed by LEDIP OIC ๐๐š๐จ๐ฅ๐จ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ณ, while SK Federation Vice President ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง ๐ƒ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฌ hosted the program.

The initiative forms part of the SK Federation and LEDIPO Victoriasโ€™ continuing commitment to empower Victoriasanon youth through skills development, entrepreneurship education, and livelihood training opportunities.

The SK Federation of Victorias successfully brought together 50 passionate young creatives for the Creative Youth Empowerment Workshop 2026: Photography, held last April 10 at the Alejandro Acuรฑa Arts and Cultural Center. Led by resource speaker Mr. Jeb Bryant Hidalgo, the session was filled with energy and insight as participants from across the city explored the art and power of photographyโ€”learning not just the basics, but how to tell meaningful stories through their lenses.

More than just a workshop, it was a hands-on experience that ignited creativity, built confidence, and inspired a new generation of visual storytellers. With every click of the camera, these young minds captured not just images, but possibilitiesโ€”proving that when youth are empowered, their vision can shape the future.
