VICTORIAS CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL โ The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Victorias City, in partnership with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), successfully conducted the Entrepreneurship Seminar and Summer Livelihood Workshop 2026: Macramรฉ Workshop on June 3, 2026, at the Victorias Cafรฉ and Pastry Shop.
The activity gathered 40 Victoriasanon youth from different barangays across the city, providing them with opportunities to develop entrepreneurial knowledge and acquire practical livelihood skills.
The program was formally hosted by SK Federation Vice President Hon. Brylin Dorias, who guided the participants throughout the activity and ensured the smooth flow of the program.
The activity was graced by Hon. Jappy Cuaycong, whose presence highlighted the importance of investing in youth development and capacity-building initiatives.
As part of the seminar component, Sir Paolo Valladarez, JD, MBA, and Ms. Marla Hautea served as speakers, discussing key concepts and opportunities in entrepreneurship, encouraging participants to cultivate innovation, leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Meanwhile, Ms. Venus Segura served as the resource speaker for the Macramรฉ Workshop, leading participants through both the theoretical and practical aspects of macramรฉ-making. The hands-on session enabled participants to learn a creative skill with potential livelihood applications.
The activity was facilitated by the SK Federation Staff, headed by SK Federation President Trisha Mae Majan, in collaboration with the LEDIPO Victorias Staff, spearheaded by Sir Paolo Valladarez.
The successful conduct of the program reflects the continued commitment of the SK Federation of Victorias City and LEDIPO to provide meaningful learning opportunities that promote youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills development among young Victoriasanons.
Through initiatives such as this, the city continues to invest in programs that equip the youth with practical competencies and knowledge that can contribute to their personal growth and future economic participation.
