✨🌿 SSLG AND CLUBS LEADING THE WAY TOWARD A GREENER SCHOOL 🌿🤝

In line with the year-end activities of Gawahon Integrated School, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with the different school clubs, is currently implementing an on-going Clean-Up Drive Project for the school Gulayan. This initiative reflects the student leaders’ commitment to environmental care, discipline, and service.

The activity highlights the collective efforts of learners who are actively involved in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the school garden. Through teamwork and cooperation, the participants demonstrate responsibility and leadership in preserving a clean and healthy learning environment.

This on-going project serves as a reminder that caring for our surroundings is a shared and continuous responsibility. The school Gulayan stands not only as a source of nourishment but also as a symbol of unity, hard work, and sustainability.

The SSLG officers extends its sincere appreciation to all club members, officers, and advisers who continue to dedicate their time and effort to this initiative. Your active participation plays a vital role in the success of this project. 🌱🤝

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 25-45, s. 2025, issued by Mayor Abelardo Bantug III and titled “AN EXECUTIVE ORDER SUSPENDING ALL CLASSES, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, FROM KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 12 AND THE ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM (ALS) IN THE CITY OF VICTORIAS DUE TO THE ORANGE WARNING LEVEL DECLARED BY THE NEGROS OCCIDENTAL OPERATIONS CENTER AND THE ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS BROUGHT BY THE SHEAR LINE AND LOW PRESSURE AREA,” classes in the City of Victorias are hereby suspended from November 24-25, 2025.

CLASS SUSPENSION. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 25-43, s. 2025 issued by City Mayor Abelardo Bantug III, and in view of the expected impact of Severe Tropical Storm TINO, the City Government of Victorias announces the suspension of classes in all levels, both public and private on November 3-4, 2025.

This measure is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, teachers, and school personnel as the storm is expected to bring heavy rains, strong winds, and possible flooding across Negros Occidental, including Victorias City.

All are advised to stay indoors, monitor official updates, and coordinate with barangay officials for any emergency concerns.

✨🌹 A MEANINGFUL CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS’ DAY 2025 🌹✨

On October 3, 2025, Gawahon Integrated School joyfully celebrated World Teachers’ Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring the hard work, patience, and unwavering love of our dear educators. From the youngest learners in Kindergarten to the graduating Senior High students, everyone came together to pay tribute to the teachers who have touched lives and shaped futures.

The program was filled with heartfelt messages, lively presentations, and entertaining games that created unforgettable moments of joy and laughter. The awarding of certificates served as a simple yet sincere gesture of gratitude for the countless sacrifices our teachers make every day in and beyond the classroom. Their dedication continues to inspire the entire school community. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫✨

We also extend our deepest thanks to the people who worked behind the scenes to ensure the success of this event — our supportive PTA Officers, the active members of BKD and YES-O, the talented MAPEH & Sports groups, and the ever-dedicated SELG and SSLG Officers. CLASSES RESUME. The public is hereby informed that classes at all levels will resume tomorrow, October 3, 2025, in the City of Victorias, following the temporary two-day suspension.

This decision comes after the Rapid Damage Assessment (RDA) Teams of Victorias City have finished conducting critical inspections on the structural integrity of both public and private buildings across the city.

All students, parents, and school personnel are advised to take the necessary precautions as they return to school.

📚✨ NATIONAL TEACHERS’ MONTH 2025 KICK-OFF ✨📚

Yesterday, September 5, 2025, we successfully opened the celebration of National Teachers’ Month 2025 with a meaningful and memorable kick-off program dedicated to honoring the commitment, sacrifices, and love of our teachers. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫💖

🙏 The program began with a heartfelt Prayer for the Teachers, where we expressed our gratitude and asked blessings for the men and women who have devoted their lives to educating, guiding, and inspiring every learner. It was a solemn moment that reminded us of the noble role of teachers in nation-building. 🌸

🎭 To add excitement and joy, we held the fun activity PaktaWHO, where students portrayed the teaching styles and familiar sayings of their teachers. The energy, laughter, and admiration filled the room as learners tried to guess who was being represented—proof that teachers truly leave lasting impressions on their students. ✨👏

🌟 The kick-off program became both a tribute and a celebration—an opportunity for everyone to recognize that teachers are more than educators; they are mentors, second parents, and true heroes who shape the future.
