Victorias City Public Library celebrated Historical Personages Month on May 26, 2026! 🎉

We had a meaningful and inspiring activity honoring the great men and women who shaped our history and heritage. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, appreciation, and respect for our local and national heroes. On March 9, 2026, the Victorias City Library, in partnership with the City Veterinary Office, marked the 67th Public Library Day with a special celebration held at Romana Elementary School. Despite the gentle rain falling throughout the event, our City Mayor, Abelardo Bantug III, graciously joined us to partake in the festivities and share in the joy of the occasion.

The day also doubled as a heartfelt celebration of Women’s Day. In a touching gesture of appreciation, Mayor Abelardo Bantug III personally presented beautiful flowers to all the women teachers present, as well as to the mothers and female parents who had come to support the activity. Their smiles brightened the venue even more, making the rainy day feel warm and meaningful for everyone involved.

Thank you so much for all the gifts you have given. These gifts will go to less fortunate children in December.

On October 30th, the Victoria City Public Library held a Halloween activity where nearly 60 children participated. The children enjoyed listening to the storytelling of Ursula, the witch under the sea. After the storytelling, the children went to different offices for trick-or-treating and enjoyed it so much that they went home with lots of candies.
