August 19, 2026 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office, in partnership with CARD-MRI Development Institute (CMDI), successfully conducted a training seminar designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and business management at CMDI Inc., Tranca Bay, Laguna, With 98 participants.

The activity covered essential topics including Entrepreneurial Mindset, DTI Programs and Services, Business Legalization, Consumer Education, and Pricing and Costing. The discussions aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge to help them start, manage, and sustain their businesses while becoming more informed and responsible consumers.

18 August 2026 | The Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Office (DTI Laguna) in partnership with CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) successfully conducted a livelihood seminar to provide participants with practical knowledge on starting and managing a business. The discussion covered DTI Programs and Services, Legalizing the Business, Entrepreneurial Mind setting, Pricing and Costing and Consumer Education.

The participants gained useful insights on accessing DTI assistance, Legalizing their business, developing the right entrepreneurial mindset, setting proper prices, and understanding consumer rights and responsibilities. Overall, the seminar was engaging and meaningful, inspiring participants to become more confident and responsible entrepreneurs.

DTI Laguna Provincial Office, in partnership with CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) successfully conducted a livelihood seminar aimed at equipping aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and skills for business development.

The seminar provided participants with valuable knowledge on Packaging and Labeling, facilitated by the NCBC of Majayjay, highlighting the importance of proper and effective packaging and labeling in promoting products and building customer trust. Meanwhile, the NCBC of Cavinti discussed the fundamentals of branding, covering essential elements such as logos, taglines, and strategies for building a strong and recognizable brand.

13 August 2026 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office, in partnership with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Regional Office โ€“ CALABARZON, successfully conducted a three-day ENTREPFARM Game at Doรฑa Jovita, Calamba City, Laguna, with the participation of seven cooperatives from Laguna: Luisiana Cacao Growers Producers Cooperative; Magniniyog ng San Pablo City Agriculture Cooperative; Bagong Luisiana Agriculture Cooperative (BLAC); Cacao Farmers Agripreneur of Nagcarlan Agriculture Cooperative (CFAN); San Santiago Natural Farming Agriculture Cooperative (SSNF); Imok-ARC Women's and Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative; and Magdalena Agriculture Cooperative (AAC).

The activity provided participants with an engaging and experiential learning experience through various games and challenges that promoted entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, decision-making, resource management, and creativity. Participants were given opportunities to develop strategies and make decisions in simulated business scenarios, enabling them to apply entrepreneurial concepts in a practical, interactive, and enjoyable manner.

Ibinida ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Calabarzon ang ibaโ€™t ibang mga produktong gawa sa niyog tulad ng s**a, lambanog, coco jam, buko pie, handicrafts at iba pa sa inaabangang Coconut Philippines KALAKAL CALABARZON 2026 na kasalukuyang ginaganap sa Carousel Court, Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City simula Lunes, Agosto 17 hanggang Agosto 23.

Ayon kay DTI Assistant Secretary for the Regional Operations Group Dominic Tolentino Jr., taun-taon isinasagawa ang aktibidad na naglalayong tipunin ang mga Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) upang bigyan sila ng pagkakataong mas maipakilala ang kanilang mga produkto sa mas malawak na merkado, mapalawak ang kanilang ugnayan sa kapwa MSMEs, at magkaroon din ng pagkakataong maipakilala at maipagmalaki ang kanilang mga produkto sa global market.

Mahigit 60 MSMEs ang bahagi ng KALAKAL CALABARZON ngayong taon mula sa ibaโ€™t ibang mga probinsya sa rehiyon, anim mula sa Quezon, tatlo mula sa Cavite, dalawang exhibitors mula sa Rizal, tatlo rin mula sa Batangas at karamihan ay mula sa lalawigan ng Laguna.

Bukod sa mga produktong gawa at mula sa niyog, mabibili rin ang ilang wellness products, mga yaring Liliw na sapatos at tsinelas, barong tagalog, kape, cacao, peanut butter, lettuce chips, atcharang ubod at marami pang iba.
