The DOST-Science Education Institute is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications to the 2025 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships! Interested students may now submit their applications and required documents through this link: https://www.science-scholarships.ph

We highly encourage everyone to go through all the instructions rigorously to be able to prepare and complete requirements accordingly.

The deadline of submission is on November 22, 2024. In-person pen and paper qualifying examination is tentatively scheduled on April 5-6, 2025 at various test centers.

The 2024 National Competitive Examination (NCE) application for incoming Grade 7 students for S.Y. 2025 - 2026 is now open.

𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: OCTOBER 10, 2024
𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐌 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: NOVEMBER 16, 2024

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:
A current Grade 6 (SY 2024-2025) who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply for the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Examination:
1. has a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics, evidenced by the student's report card in Grade 5 or on S.Y. 2023-2024; (If the student's grades in Science or Math are below 85%, then, he/she must provide evidence that he/she belongs to the upper 10% of the batch.
2. a Filipino citizen with no pending or approved application as an immigrant to any foreign country.
3. not be more than 15 years old by June 30, 2025.
4. has at least a satisfactory rating (or its equivalent) in his/her Character Rating in his/her report card in Grade 5 or on S.Y. 2023-2024).
5. has not previously applied for admission in PSHS; and
6. preferably in good health and fit to undergo a rigorous academic program.

Student applicants may apply directly to the nearest Philippine Science High School campus, DOST Regional Offices, and Provincial Science and Technology Offices or apply via online platform through https://nce.pshs.edu.ph.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬?
1. REGULAR second year college male and female students enrolled in a DOST-SEI priority S&T course at identified universities in the Second Semester of AY 2022-2023.
2. Must have a general weighted average of at least 83% or its equivalent and with no conditional or failing mark from the First Semester of First Year until the First Semester of Second Year in college, including in the midyear terms, if enrolled.
3. Must be natural-born Filipino citizen.
4. Must be of good moral character and in good health.
5. Have not applied for a DOST-SEI scholarship before or have applied for a DOST-SEI scholarship before but did not qualify to the scholarship or have qualified for a DOST-SEI scholarship but did not avail of the award.
