VCCPC Conducts Orientation on Adoption-Related Laws

On July 21, 2026, the Valenzuela City Council for the Protection of Children (VCCPC) successfully conducted an orientation at 3S Pasolo on key adoption-related laws for members of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Desk Officers, and Barangay Kagawads from Barangays Rincon, Pasolo, Dalandanan, and Malinta.

The orientation focused on the salient provisions of Republic Act No. 11642 (Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act), Republic Act No. 11767 (Foundling Recognition and Protection Act), and Republic Act No. 11222 (Simulated Birth Rectification Act). The activity aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge of these laws, empowering them to provide proper information, referrals, and support to children and families in need of adoption and alternative child care services.

Through initiatives like this, VCCPC remains committed to promoting the best interests of every child by equipping our barangay partners with the knowledge needed to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow in a safe, loving, and permanent family.

💙 Strengthening Child Protection Starts with Informed Communities!💙

Noong July 14, 2026, matagumpay na naisagawa ang Orientation on Republic Act No. 11222, Republic Act No. 11767, at Republic Act No. 11642 para sa mga miyembro ng Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), VAWC Desk, at Barangay Health Workers (BHW) ng Brgy. Gen. T. De Leon

Sa pamamagitan ng orientation na ito, mas napalalim ang kaalaman ng ating barangay frontliners sa mga batas na nagtataguyod ng responsableng pag-aalaga ng mga bata, child protection, at pagpapalakas ng pamilya.Layunin din nitong mas maging handa ang ating mga katuwang sa pagbibigay ng tamang serbisyo at agarang pagtugon sa mga usaping may kinalaman sa kapakanan ng mga bata at kanilang mga pamilya.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at aktibong nakibahagi sa talakayan. Ang inyong dedikasyon at patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ay malaking hakbang tungo sa pagbuo ng isang mas ligtas, mas mapagmalasakit, at child-friendly na komunidad.

Sama-sama nating pangalagaan ang bawat bata. Dahil ang bawat bata ay mahalaga.💙👧👦

: 9 years ago, the Valenzuela City Child Protection Center opened its doors to children who are in need of a safe haven.

An award-winning, community-recognized benchmark facility, this center operates 24/7 to support abused, at-risk, and vulnerable children. Manned by a Multidisciplinary Team of medical, legal, and social work specialists, it delivers comprehensive care to guarantee children's safety, physical and psychological health, and continued education.

The Child Protection Center, alongside the City’s Child Protection Policy, was honored as an Outstanding Local Governance Program at the prestigious 2024 Galing Pook Awards in October 2024, celebrating Valenzuela City's innovative and excellent community initiatives, especially in protecting children's welfare.

Valenzuela City continues its commitment to creating initiatives that are centered on the best interest of the people.

Ngayong Filipino Social Workers’ Day, buong puso naming kinikilala at pinapahalagahan ang dedikasyon, malasakit, at walang sawang paglilingkod ng mga Social Workers ng Valenzuela City Child Protection Center (VCCPC) at ng lahat ng social workers sa buong bansa.

Sa bawat batang napoprotektahan, pamilyang natutulungan, at buhay na nabibigyan ng pag-asa, naroon ang inyong hindi matatawarang pagmamalasakit at propesyonalismo. Kayo ang nagsisilbing boses ng mga nangangailangan at katuwang sa pagtataguyod ng ligtas, mapag-aruga, at makatarungang komunidad para sa bawat bata at pamilya.
