As our 5-year journey with the Sangguniang Kabataan gracefully concludes, we find ourselves immersed in the warmth of memories and gratitude that have fueled our collective efforts since 2018.

To the vibrant Tongantongan Youth, your unwavering enthusiasm and dedicated hearts have been the very rhythm of our initiatives, crafting a legacy that fills us with immense pride and gratitude. Our sincere appreciation extends to Barangay Captain Hon. Rene Perante and the entire Barangay Tongantongan officials for being the steadfast pillars of support throughout our journey.

A special acknowledgment is reserved for Purok Leaders, Purok Youth Leaders, Barangay Functionaries, Youth Volunteers, Performers, and Athletes – your contributions have not only brought unparalleled pride but have woven a rich tapestry of honor for our beloved barangay.

To the entire community of Barangay Tongantongan, your trust and collaborative spirit have been the bedrock of our success. As our term gracefully concludes, the spirit of unity and progress that we've collectively nurtured will endure, a testament to the resilience and strength of our community.

Based on Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A, s. 1966 Declaring the Month of September as Heath Issues and Sanitation Month, the Valencia City Youth Development Office is pleased to announce the Year 2 of youth forum dubbed as "FACTS GANERN! a teen talk on Teenage Pregnancy this coming September 22, 2023, 1:00pm at Robinsons Movie World, Robinsons Place Valencia, this City.

The event will bring together key stakeholders and youth participants to call attention, heighten consciousness and raise awareness of teenage pregnancy and its consequences. This activity is an inter-agency effort of the VCYDO together with
> City Health Office (CHO),
> City Social Welfare & Development Office (CSWDO)
> Commission on Population (POPCOM)
> Bukidnon Society of OB-Gynes (BSOG) through our invited Guest Speaker Dr Jennie Mundin

Anchored on the theme, “Addressing Teenage Pregnancy, Working for a Brighter Future,” and with the increasing incidence of teenage pregnancies in the City and in the Province of Bukidnon, there is an urgent need for a strong advocacy campaign to help adolescents be more responsible for their actions and make informed choices.

Here's the schedule for the day:
🌞 Morning Shift: Grades 7, 8, and 11
🕕 Time: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

🌅 Afternoon Shift: Grades 9, 10, and 12
🕕 Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

But that's not all – names and sections will be posted on that day, so make sure to arrive early to find out which section you belong to. Gather your energy, enthusiasm, and all your school essentials as we embark on a new academic journey together. It's time to reunite with friends, meet your new teachers, and embrace the learning adventures that await. 🎈📝
