🚨Empowering the Next Generation of Emergency Responders!🚑⛑️

The Emergency Youth Responder Seminar successfully concluded last July 30, 2026 at RMalls, Level 3, Robinsons Valencia , bringing together young leaders, SK officials, youth volunteers, students, and representatives from various barangays and schools for a day of meaningful learning and skills development.

This initiative was made possible through the partnership of the Valencia City Youth Development Office (VCYDO) and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), united in promoting youth preparedness, resilience, and community safety. Participants were equipped with valuable knowledge and practical skills in emergency response, disaster preparedness, and basic life-saving techniques—empowering them to become responsible and capable first responders in their respective communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) for sharing their expertise and unwavering support in making this seminar a success.

To all the Sangguniang Kabataan officials, youth leaders, students, school representatives, and participants from the different barangays of Valencia City, thank you for your enthusiasm, active participation, and commitment to becoming catalysts for safer and more resilient communities. Your dedication to learning and serving others is truly inspiring.

SK Federation presidents and Bukidnon League of LYDO's Strengthen Collaboration for the Successful Hosting of Provincial Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

Held at the Co-Event Space, Level 2, Robinsons Valencia, the joint meeting focused on strengthening coordination, finalizing preparations, and aligning plans to ensure the successful hosting of the Provincial Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 in Valencia City.

[UPDATE] The Inter-Agency Advisory Council on Youth Development (IACYD) successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting last July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the City Mayor's Conference Room, bringing together representatives from various government offices and partner agencies.

The meeting served as a venue to:

Provide updates on ongoing youth development initiatives;
Strengthen inter-agency collaboration; Align programs, projects, and activities that promote the welfare and holistic development of the youth in Valencia City; and Ensure compliance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10742 (Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015) and other relevant youth development policies.

The City Government of Valencia, through the Valencia City Youth Development Office, remains committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive approach to youth governance, ensuring that every young Valenciano has access to meaningful opportunities for growth, leadership, and active civic participation.
