CVBAPS SPORTS MEET 2026 OFFICIALLY OPENED! 🔥🏆

The CVBAPS Sports Meet 2026 officially opened today, October 8, 2026, bringing together 20 elementary and high school private schools for this year’s exciting celebration of sports, teamwork, friendship, and sportsmanship!

Hosted by Juanito K. La Viña Sr. College, Inc. – Basic Education, the opening ceremony marked the beginning of an action-packed series of sporting events to be held across different participating private school venues.

Galario 10U & 15U Elite Volleyball Program supported by the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod under the leadership of our City Vice Mayor Greizl G. Fernandez.

This milestone is more than just a celebration of volleyball—it is a celebration of growth, friendship, discipline, character, and determination.

To all our dedicated coaches specially to Sir Ken Silverio T. Ucang (Program Director) and supportive parents, thank you for helping mold our young Valencianos into confident and responsible individuals. Thank you for encouraging them to step beyond their comfort zones, build meaningful friendships, develop their character, and enhance their talents and skills through sports.

To our young volleyball graduates, may this experience serve as a stepping stone toward becoming not only better athletes, but better individuals. May the lessons you learned on the court—teamwork, discipline, perseverance, respect, and sportsmanship—guide you in facing every challenge that comes your way.

Keep playing. Keep learning. Keep growing. And most importantly, keep believing in yourselves.

Congratulations, young athletes! Your journey does not end here—it is only beginning. 🏐💙

VCYDO WON 1ST RUNNER-UP FOR BEST LGU PROGRAM!

The Valencia City Youth Development Office (VCYDO) proudly secured the 1st Runner-Up Award for Best LGU Program during the City of Valencia’s 126th Civil Service Month Celebration, recognizing the impact and sustainability of Saludo sa Batang Valenciano, a flagship youth recognition program that had reached its 11th year.

Saludo sa Batang Valenciano was an annual awarding program that recognized outstanding individuals and groups aged 30 years old and below who had brought pride and honor to Valencia City through exceptional achievements in Education, Sports, Culture and Arts at the regional, national, and international levels.

Prior to the awarding, the screening committee conducted a series of validation and evaluation processes among the nominated LGU programs. As the project head, Mark Espinosa presented the program and addressed the committee’s queries, providing important information about its implementation, accomplishments, sustainability, and impact on the youth of Valencia.

This recognition was more than an award—it was a testament to the commitment, collaboration, and shared vision of the VCYDO, the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Valencia City and the entire LGU Valencia to recognize excellence, celebrate the achievements of young Valencianos, and continue developing meaningful programs that inspired the next generation.

✨ 11 years of Saludo sa Batang Valenciano.
✨ 11 years of recognizing excellence.
✨ 11 years of inspiring young Valencianos to dream, achieve, and make Valencia proud.

The award served as a meaningful recognition of the collective efforts behind the program and strengthened the commitment of the VCYDO and its partners to continue inspiring the younger generation of Valencianos.
