What has the Sangguniang Kabataan been up to recently?๐ค
In full support of and compliance with the recently issued executive directives from both the Provincial and Municipal Governments, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cutcutan continues to explore alternative and innovative approaches to sustain youth engagement, community participation, and public service despite existing limitations. This reflects the organizationโs commitment: adaptive to the changes of time, and responsive to the needs of time.
The incumbent administration of the Sangguniang Kabataan remains actively engaged in the performance of its mandated functions through the conduct of regular sessions, strategic planning meetings, policy discussions, and the preparation of essential documents and programs for the Fiscal Year 2026. Simultaneously, the council has utilized this period to strengthen preparations for the upcoming Barangay Fiesta, ensuring that activities are well-organized, inclusive, and beneficial to the residents of Barangay Cutcutan.
As reflected in the photo reports, the collaborative efforts of the SK Chairperson, SK Council Members, Miss Cutcutan 2025, and the dedicated youth volunteers of the barangay demonstrate a strong sense of civic responsibility and community solidarity. Their active participation extends beyond planning and governance, actively working regular monthly barangay clean-up drives, the installation and replacement of waste bins along community roads, the maintenance and enhancement of SK disclosure boards, and the continuous monitoring and preparation of programs slated for implementation in 2026.
As we move forward, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cutcutan remains steadfast in its VMG: to serve, empower, and inspire. Guided by the values of accountability, participation, and service, we reaffirm our commitment to building a more progressive, resilient, and united communityโproving that even in times of adjustment, genuine leadership finds ways to create meaningful impact.
